Yo would bloody well hope they can access it if they are paying for it!!Told the work is progressing well. Hope ccfc are able to access the ground to have a look when they need to unlike during the cwg
The aardvark used to have a small wasps flag hanging up in there. Think it still might be, may have to take a trip and remove it.
Don't remember seeing it when I was in there last.
No, it was definitely only a flag. What about the park gate?
It did say they aren't finishing till FridayStill looks a bit sh!t in places.
looking shit is not the issue.Still looks a bit sh!t in places.
Well it may do but it looks a lot better than it did Skyblueweeman, so look upon that as a positive. Rome wasn't built in a day.Still looks a bit sh!t in places.
We’ll never get the answer might be wrong but my betting is Wasps didn’t have the money to pay, caused this issue and went cap in hand to the West Midlands Authority who possibly stumped up a loan for this and possibly other issues, there’s a World Cup Rugby League tie due there in October and being a world wide event WMA coughed up.The pitch is looking good already, if both parties were proactive post CWG and had this work done, we would have played Rotherham on a carpet. Questions need to be asked of both Vaughan AND Boddy.

How do we know?CCFC are paying for it....
It wouldn't be as bad if just the football club were using it, Wasp shouldn't be allowed anywhere near it until November, perhaps they could groundshare at Worcester

Is it playable is.
I know it's been said before but this:
Coventry had wanted Wasps to replace the pitch entirely but said the rugby club were unwilling to re-lay the surface even after the football club offered a financial contribution.
The sooner these parasites are gone, the better.
Ok been away for a couple of weeks so havnt followed it vigorously, I'm not trawling through them. On a positive note I was to miss the first 3 home gamesGo back through the threadThe wording about the statements and from what others who would probably know have said.
Hopefully a good result Saturday and more will come on WednesdayWell it's not 'dangerous' anymore is it? That's all that matters really. Over time the new fibre stiching will strengthen the grass pitch enormously so it can cope better with both Rugby and football. Bumper crowd expected at the first 'home' game!
@robbiethemole - you want them to stay??
