I'm surprised by how so many seem to talk about Boddy with absolute certainty, a man they have never met or had any dealings with. This unique insight they have is impressive.
People talk about his iffy CV as though that's relevant to the here and now. You might argue that his recent CV is impressive, joined a 4th division club and within a few years are an established Championship club, with record ST sales, record shirt sales, a much improved tenancy agreement, big improvements at Ryton, a new ticket office and 2 retail outlets and much else that is positive.
Now, you can argue that none of this has anything to do with him, none of it, that everything positive is down to other people, not the man in charge of running the club day to day, but the negative stuff, well that's all him, after all he's the man running the club day to day.
You can take this view, but it's incredibly dishonest and is clearly personal.
I'm not convinced that the game would have taken place anyway, regardless of the pitch.
I was there at 5pm on Friday and the amount of clobber still left up from the Cwg was astonishing.
I seriously don't believe it could have been removed in time.
Could it be ready for Wigan at home on 16th? Not looking good so far, greedy fucking Wasps taking the money and no investment it the stadium/ infrastructure.
I wouldn’t even plan on seeing the Huddersfield game on the 20th tbh
Amazing some people are having a go at the club/directors/owners here.
This is clear as day Wasps’ fault and they should fucking pay for it.
No. It’s never misguided to hate franchising when sport in this country is built on community.
Wasps owners ripped their club away from theirs and tried to exile us from ours.
I don’t give a shit if sisu gave them the opportunity. What they did was fundamentally wrong and I hope it all comes crashing down.
Ultimately the Buck does stop there,
Genuine question: do you want Blaze gone as well?
The reason this all seems a bit faux outrage is because there’s been no complaints about franchised teams in the city until Wasps.
We didn't previously have an ice hockey team ?
We have a pretty famous old rugby club and a football club that have felt the effects of wasps
There is a difference mate

Then say that, don’t say you have some moral objection to franchising. Say Wasps have damaged existing clubs and show how. I’m not an egg chasing fan but Cov rugby seem to be doing OK. What’s been the impact?
Ice hockey is different in this country as it isn’t rooted in communities. It’s a new entity and not built by the people of the city and passed down through generations.Ultimately the Buck does stop there,

Can’t see the pitch being ready til the huddersfield game - though that’s just a hunchWhen do we realistically expect to play at home again?
Cov rugby have not only been fucked over by the arrival of Wasps but by the protectionism now surrounding the rugby premier league by the RFU. The same decisions that ensure Wasps have continual income and no fear of relegation .Then say that, don’t say you have some moral objection to franchising. Say Wasps have damaged existing clubs and show how. I’m not an egg chasing fan but Cov rugby seem to be doing OK. What’s been the impact?
I keep reading about this style of play. it didn’t matter at Tranmere. I understand we like a decent pitch but so do all other teams.Even if they made the pitch playable it would be detrimental to our style of play
When do we realistically expect to play at home again?

Met both not hostile to either. Was to Tim previously for some comments about moving to Northamptonmany people are hostile to Tim fisher without meeting him aren’t they?
many people are hostile to Tim fisher without meeting him aren’t they?
Yes but what about the 20,000+ fans that have payed to attend this football matchShoul have played it at the Butts on their 4g pitch
Huckerby pretty vocal about it
Apart from the crowd and the fact 4g pitches aren't allowed in the efl then yesShoul have played it at the Butts on their 4g pitch
I don’t think Tim pot SISU can ? But who they sell to might give it a goit’s made a loss in all but one of the 17 years it’s been there. This is wasps whole argument. It’s a gold mine that needs turning round. It’s joke to think tin pot Sisu can do that
Doesn’t take that long to patch a pitch and get it up to speed problem we have is will the CWG lot allow us in to do it, if there are more events at the Arena I doubt they will. Can’t see the pitch being ready til the huddersfield game - though that’s just a hunch
I meant the 7sApart from the crowd and the fact 4g pitches aren't allowed in the efl then yes
I thought their plan was to get someone already experienced in managing arenas to run it?it’s made a loss in all but one of the 17 years it’s been there. This is wasps whole argument. It’s a gold mine that needs turning round. It’s joke to think tin pot Sisu can do that
Just because they have a lease it won't stop them being liquidated surely, if they're insolvent they're insolvent.Do you honestly think we can make the stadium work when everyone else has failed?
Also I don’t see the rugby club being liquidated and they have a 50 year sun lease on the stadium
Oh, I didn't realise other clubs offered free parking 200 yards from the ground. Those huge tarmac areas are £230 a go - grounds near city centres are easy as you park in the centre and walk.
there is a huge radius around it that is restricted parking - if the club were allowed to extend the original ground it’s a 15 minute walk to the car parks in the City
No chance are the commonwealth games using the buttsI meant the 7s
