And when Wasps ruin it or hire it out for the rugby World Cup do we just pay to fix it again? So sort the pitch ourselves and take it out of the rental package. Clearly Wasps didn't do anything because they're skint and if we're already committed to giving them money it's no extra expense
They wernt allowed access due to the CWG security. Remember we are only tennents not owners as wellHow the fuck did the owners not look at the state of that pitch 2 weeks ago ? Not the day before. The cynic in me says they're actually enjoying this.

It's not our fault but it nevertheless looks like we didn't take any tangible actionIs it our fault though?
What's going through peoples heads ffs
But how does that work?
We find out in June, we whack a pitch down, it then gets hammered by the rugby.
Do we then get a share and a say of the events there?
Yep beyond annoying!! The solution seemed to be let’s wait and see. FfsSaid earlier in the week it was a bit concerning that nobody had mentioned what the plan actually was to fix it. Not asking much for an update from both clubs acknowledging the problem and giving a plan to resolve it.

As stated already , we shouldn't put a penny into something we don't own , we pay good money for the privilege to play on a playable surface .. this is their hole , let them climb out of it
Realistically what action could the club have taken. What they were told was that a new pitch wasn't being laid as promised. It doesn't then follow automatically that Wasps are going to do fuck all to ensure the current pitch is fit for purpose. You can still have a reasonable exception that the most basic criteria of leasing a football stadium would be met.
It wouldn't be any extra money above what we're already paying them
They and we have no money to do anything I’m afraidReads as if wasps are literally doing fuck all about it.
We could have relaid there out not signed say palmer - we have to answer to tbe EFL and not wasps it’s our problem
If we did pay to relay a pitch would Wasps have even allowed it?
We pay our rent quarterly in advance, if we were withholding that then I suspect we wouldn't have been allowed access to the stadium for match days.
We also don't have access to non-match days so we would have needed their agreement to get it done, if that involved withholding rent when they are so skint I doubt they'd have gone for it.
It's not for us to do , a new pitch can cost a small fortune ..
You're right, we shouldn't have to-but look at what's happening now because nobody did anything. Do it ourselves, take the cost out of the rent and get the pitch in a fit state.
Had we done that before the CWG we wouldn't have had to call off the first 3 competitive home games.
We should relay it and not sign players..
Fucking next level bollocks

If that’s the plan I’m not sure I really get it. Is pressure effective? It damages both brands and that’s about it.That would have been a sensible way about it.
I think the ownership would rather use this as another way to increase the pressure on the landlords though.
Lets be honest, we all know talk of a new stadium is bollocks, they've always been interested in the arena. With Wasps heading towards serious trouble they are just trying to squeeze their foot in the door.
if the solution here is not attempting to improve our squad because our landlords are so terrible they can't provide a pitch for us then the answer is not to avoid signing player, worsen the squad and piss off the manager. It's to find a way to get better landlords.
What happens if wasps didn't agree and then claimed we weren't paying rent? You're right, we shouldn't have to-but look at what's happening now because nobody did anything. Do it ourselves, take the cost out of the rent and get the pitch in a fit state.

Well we say we have no money. The EFL relationship is with us not wasps. Who else has this problem?
Yes but also the EFL will know what's happened.Well we say we have no money. The EFL relationship is with us not wasps. Who else has this problem?
I think it's building a charge large enough that can force their admin. If that’s the plan I’m not sure I really get it. Is pressure effective? It damages both brands and that’s about it.
Wasps will leave when their owner thinks it’s in his financial interest. As if he cares what our supporters think of him.
I'm sorry, that's not how renting works I'm afraid, we can't just alter it to suit out needs ..
Wasps are paid to have a surface playable for us , it's not .
That's not a coventry city problem
What happens if wasps didn't agree and then claimed we weren't paying rent?
I'm sure the money is more important to them right now.
