That they have been paid to provide?
Can you see wasps agreeing to that? We’d qualify for some sort of withhold surely. Whatever is spent is deducted.

So you want us to roll over and kiss the arse of Wasps by spunking money for a pitch that we wont own or have any say in other events on it including rugby that will destroy it for football and pay them the full rent as a bonus
If we get the said amount for this new dr
Exactly, if we pay the £500k for the drop in pitch it will be great for the football. When the egg chasers season starts it will be wrecked again in no time.
I don’t think it’s as simple as paying g for the pitch. We drop one in, the Rugby league/Union games in october rip it up - do we drop another pitch in?Again, agree. But what are other choices?

What REALLY worries me is that MR might walk.
He is clearly very very pissed off
I pray that he won't .
He has a great relationship with our fans so I'm just hoping this will prevail and he'll stay for the duration
I assume because as we only rent we legally aren't allowed to do anything without their agreement, otherwise they could sue us. Same as a person renting a house can't make changes without the landlord's agreement, sometimes for stuff as petty as redecorating. If it really means that much to the club to be in Coventry, why do I feel like they won’t take some responsibility, sort the pitch and carry on? I get that Wasps aren’t fulfilling obligations and why should we step in and sort it out? But we seem more focused on digging our heels into them and just not getting the problem sorted. Fans, players and Robins just want it sorted but with DB it’s just ‘they won’t sort it’, ‘we’ve offered to help but they’re not interested’.
Worried that the club will make the wrong decision and seek alternative venues instead of growing some and just sorting the fucker out.

Well technically Wasps only rent too, they just do it for a lot longer. It’ll depend what is in the agreement but from the sounds of previous ones I doubt it’ll be too lenient on what we can do.
Can we get a pitch we take up each week and let the lummoxes play on the beach they’ve put together? Do it like the sliding pitch but in sections, four fans on each at the end of the game onto the back of a trailer and back to Ryton to maintenance.
I don’t think they can do much at this point we are in the season , it’s too late .Weeks or months ago they could have done so much moreIf it really means that much to the club to be in Coventry, why do I feel like they won’t take some responsibility, sort the pitch and carry on? They haven’t.Can you see wasps agreeing to that?
Well it is tbf, i started to wonder whether this very public spat between CCFC and Wasps was to try and influence the actions of a public bodyClaiming it's for the football club too
You would think so but a green fingered expert on here has said it takes about 9 weeks to lay a pitch seems long to me but ironically that takes us close to the Rugby League World Cup fixture due to be played there on the 21st of October.can't it just be patched on the worst parts, centre circle and wings and then maybe look to do something during the W/C lay off??
It's not though. It's for wasps.Well it is tbf, i started to wonder whether this very public spat between CCFC and Wasps was to try and influence the actions of a public body

Scummy prickMaton wants "mega bucks football" to pay for it
He's a fucking rat
He once said that CCFC were never any good at running a football stadium… I don’t remember not having a pitch to play on do you? I’m sure it was a tweet if you want to do some
