People are too busy trying to come up with random scenarios where CCFC pay 500k for a pitch just before it's rented out for concerts and CWG so it isn't wasps fault.
I think City should pay for the pitch.
It's not about clearing wasps of any blame, it's about getting our season going before it turns totally to shit and ends up costing us millions and possibly the manager.

In a sense it is simple if we pay for the repair or replacement and it means we start to get money in assuming we won’t get any back. I don’t think ccfc have the funds and if sisu loaned the money I’m not sure they’d be happy to not get any back.With what money?

The right answer is to get it playable ASAP, which is exactly what the groundstaff are doing as we speak.We haven’t got time, money or resources on our side. Already by the end of this weekend we’ll be 3 games down on the rest of the league and it’s not even September. The question here is which is the lesser evil needed for us to get a playable surface in the quickest time. Already the 3 postponements and 1 cup game moved to another ground have cost us likely more than a new pitch.
