the grounds owners would like name them after fraser group brands
so i hope you are looking forward to sitting in the flannels stand
Kenny Jackett Corner
He prob owns that company tooMuller Corner hopefully
He prob owns that company too
With our stand names just being that of a compass, would you like to see them renamed? or maybe sponsored (charity i imagine seeing as CBS prob wont allow a McDonalds stand etc) or if Robins does the unthinkable, would you name a stand after the man himself?
edit - its a slow Tuesday and im anxious about saturday.
I know it's not going to happen, but here goes.
4 stands 4 names.
The Jimmy Hill stand.
The John Sillett stand.
The George Curtis stand.
The Mark Robins stand.

Three Spires Stand (inspire, perspire and, just for Sunderland, conspire)What about things/people prominent to Coventry?
Lady Godiva stand
Coventry Blitz Memorial stand
Then 2 for CCFC legends?
The George Curtis and John Sillett proposals are a non-brainer, both club legends in their own right but i always looked at them as a double act, probably because they played here together and then returned to manage together, so only fitting that they share the honours.I know it's not going to happen, but here goes.

THE GEORGE CURTIS & JOHN SILLETT GRANDSTAND
It would soon lovingly be known as the George & John stand, a statue of the two of them ‘arm in arm’ dancing their Wembley jig would be an amazing memorial and focal point at the entrance to the stand concourse.
THE JIMMY HILL - SOUTH STAND,
Another bona-fide club legend, an extremely opinionated maverick which meant he could never ‘ice everybodys cake’, he certainly didn’t get everything right at Coventry but if you look back over his time at the club it would be extremely difficult to argue that he wasn’t the driving force that catapulted the club into the big time and left them equipped enough to stay there for decades.
My reasoning for Jimmy getting the away stand is I honestly think it would crack him up to think he was still winding up grown men until they’re fit to burst
That would do for now, Mark Robins is doing a fantastic job and long may it continue, another 10 years of progression under him would be superb.
Remember you only have 4 stands available to name and once they’re named that’s itnot sure I’ve ever heard of one that’s named after a club legend, being re-named, and you never know ‘what or who’ might be just around the corner.
Not a fucking chance. After celebrating Saturday's victory I'm gonna need all the help I can muster in navigating my way home - And long may that continue. Looking back towards the 'Coventry cats defence league' or Primark stands in the future will not aid my homeward journey. With our stand names just being that of a compass, would you like to see them renamed? or maybe sponsored (charity i imagine seeing as CBS prob wont allow a McDonalds stand etc) or if Robins does the unthinkable, would you name a stand after the man himself?

Would need significant stadium expansion for that. The Peter Ndlovu Family Stand
It's the whole stadium. One of Boltons stands has just been sponsored by Toughsheet !
