On holiday when we’ve got no manager, what an absolute clown he isno announcement because there was never going to be an announcement.
king is on holiday
When is he back, when do you expect an announcement to be made and will it be Lampard?no announcement because there was never going to be an announcement.

Roberts and Austin taking charge of the interviews whilst bling is sitting on a beach somewhere, ffsAll I know is the shortlist comprised of 4 or 5
list included Lampard, eustace, Wycombe manager and a foreign coach
Interviews took place this week. last one being on Wednesday
Austin and Clare ran the interviews
king was on holiday this week
That list is pathetic, if they are the best of the “elite” coaches applying to our job it shows we really aren’t appealing as first thoughtAll I know is the shortlist comprised of 4 or 5

We're a midtable championship sideThat list is pathetic, if they are the best of the “elite” coaches applying to our job it shows we really aren’t appealing as first thought
So if all true, two questions? All I know is the shortlist comprised of 4 or 5

Well I was told by most on here we are one of the most appealing jobs in the leagueWe're a midtable championship side

If this process happened just after last season ended then better candidates would be going for it.That list is pathetic, if they are the best of the “elite” coaches applying to our job it shows we really aren’t appealing as first thought
If the list of applicants were better than the shortlist, why are we not pursuing them? It's the shortlist not the list of applicants and it's also from GIMOC so not necessarily the truth.
I mean it’s not terrible, Lampard well discussed, I like Esutace and think with backing he could do a job. Not a fan of Bloomfield, and think while he could be good, we should wait on this one for a couple of years. That list is pathetic, if they are the best of the “elite” coaches applying to our job it shows we really aren’t appealing as first thought

It is terrible, not one outside the box or exciting option in there. Stinks of lack of effortI mean it’s not terrible, Lampard well discussed, I like Esutace and think with backing he could do a job. Real question is do we trade it all for the fourth option mystery box

Stinks of Lampard being lined up weeks ago and due process being followed before the inevitable underwhelming unveiling of himIt is terrible, not one outside the box or exciting option in there. Stinks of lack of effort
Not as though we’ll ever know who was really shortlisted tbfwe will see
Loads of people WFH these days.On holiday when we’ve got no manager, what an absolute clown he is
My read on it right now is that Lampard has been the #1 option the whole way through, Doug was probably aware he would be interested before he sacked Robins.Stinks of Lampard being lined up weeks ago and due process being followed before the inevitable underwhelming unveiling of him
I’d rather the owner of my club interview the potential new manager face to face rather than over teams or FaceTimeLoads of people WFH these days.
That’s ridiculous though, we can’t just be writing 6 points offThe timing has been deliberate to get Sheff Utd and Burnley out of the way in the knowledge that the new manager won't have much leeway with fans and two defeats to start could be very damaging.
This is of course all speculation but it's what everything seems to point to.
This argument that we aren’t appointing the manager yet so he doesn’t start his career here with 2 losses is pathetic defeatist crapMy read on it right now is that Lampard has been the #1 option the whole way through, Doug was probably aware he would be interested before he sacked Robins.
I'm sure a process has been conducted, but more from a standpoint of making sure Lampard is the man rather than an open view.

Totally agree , for onceMy read on it right now is that Lampard has been the #1 option the whole way through, Doug was probably aware he would be interested before he sacked Robins.

A new manager would have gave us a bounceThis argument that we aren’t appointing the manager yet so he doesn’t start his career here with 2 losses is pathetic defeatist crap

Even though it makes sense ?This argument that we aren’t appointing the manager yet so he doesn’t start his career here with 2 losses is pathetic defeatist crap

We should change manager every game, and get the guaranteed bounce you speak of.A new manager would have gave us a bounce
That’s ridiculous though, we can’t just be writing 6 points off
The players & Carr showed at Sunderland they can get results in tough games. Points aren't being written off. This argument that we aren’t appointing the manager yet so he doesn’t start his career here with 2 losses is pathetic defeatist crap
