I am not delighted to see TM leave but it is for the best. He was found tactically wanting at league 1 level. I did feel for him slightly last season as Arma and the like did miss several games last season and were reliant on the dross we have now. Even so with that team we should have made the playoff s at the very least and the form in 2016 is horrendous.

Next......we need a manager in the mold of Alex Neil at Norwich, Tough, down to earth, a motivator and gets results. Scotland has disproportionately shown itself as is fertile ground and for that reason I would go for a manager under 50 with the highest league win ratio outside of the SPL.

.

Can't argue with any of that.

Despite everything with Sisu and budgets and hands tied etc. etc. etc., it is totally clear that TM made many mistakes too, and this is coming someone who really backed him and so badly wanted him to succeed.

We clearly should have made the play-offs and some bad wheeler dealing in January didn't at all help. Our form was shocking until the last handful of games.

This season it looks like he has recruited poorly again. Turnbull doesn't seem to be any better than Martin, Ghadzev appears to be a poor buy and we once again lack a bit of muscle and physicality. We're back to where we were last season, so this clearly hasn't been addressed.

In spite of everything Sisu, TM has also failed with his tactics, formations, systems and selections.

That's exactly what we don't need ,they are nearly all kids ... They are more likely to start crying than get motivated

Really?!

At the risk of sounding mildly sarcastic, but what exactly do we need then? Another TM clone who couldn't battle his way out of a wet paper bag?

We're not really in a position to be picky, or dismissive of a manager who could get this team playing as a TEAM. Did Alex Ferguson go easy on the 'Class of '92'? No he didn't, and I imagine it was the hairdryer treatment that got them fighting for each other, and the frigging shirts on their back.

I'd take a bastard who can motivate the team over a TM any day.

Who are the players that mowbray was talking about that would be happy that he is gone? Doesn't sound like it was a happy camp?

Shocked Pearson failed at Derby

Utter twat but knows how to get promoted for league 1 and championship

We have a chance with him due to Derby failure and his psycho streak and dumb son player

Not sure why any Manager out there would want to join our Circus but as I hate to say it, I don't like the Cotterills or Evans of this game but we do need a c**t in the dugout who won't take any shit and do the basics right. For that, I'd consider Cotterill. Just someone who can figure out our formation, play players in right positions and have a plan B.

Maybe a typo & they meant SCFC,meaning Stoke
According to the Mirror,John Eustace is on the shortlist? What the fuck?
That could be it, cheers.
Re: John Eustace, I've honestly never been less interested regarding a managerial appointment.
I just don't think it matters anymore.

Err and how many billions is Joy worth? A lot, that's how many.

Why is she? She invests other people money not her own. She might be very wealthy compared to you but I have never seen any evidence of her having billions.

A quick correction about SC and having money when BCFC won L1, if you don't mind. We were actually £700K UP on transfers in that season due to the sale of Sammy Baldock. Granted we did spend a bit and have a properly rich owner (no, you can't have him, just no) but it wasn't until we reached the Championship that handling a bigger budget and players became a problem for Cott's.
You could do a lot worse than appoint SC TBH, that's IF he would work under SISU.

Thanks for clearing that up. It's a common misconception amongst our fans then every other club in league one is spending millions. We actually bought 2 players this window, if you read around you wouldn't think it!
