CCFC Museum? (1 Viewer)

Inspired by this tweet and BSB talking about the Brighton Stadium tour, been wondering why we don’t have a CCFC museum anywhere.

Would you visit? What would you want to see in there? Why hasn’t it happened already?

Be nice to have one in the exhibition hall for a few weeks where people donate and then get it back. I have some lovely stuff that I'd lend but wouldn't part with and I know someone who has every kit going back to 70s

Why stop at stadium tours and a museum? Surely a CCFC theme park would get loads of visitors.

A start would be for the archive to become a dedicated repository for material.

The 2016/17 ride I imagine is some kind of ghost train where you're forced to watch Ryan Haynes play at centre back while Yakubu slowly advances behind you in search of brains

Would be well shit though wouldn't it? We all love the club but a museum wouldn't contain anything of any interest really would it bar the trophies and bits of Highfield Road

Cant imagine Trond-Egil Soltvedts boots garnering much of an interest

I mean I agree, but equally shouldn’t there be somewhere collecting the clubs history other than Jim Browns attic?

There’s a CCFC bit in the Herbert isn’t there?

Guess part of the issue is where to put it. We don’t own the stadium and it’s a bit out of the way for non-match day visitors

Is there? I wasn’t aware of that.

This was kind of my thought, people are bound to have unique memorabilia out there. 140 years the club has been in existence and it's got quite a story to tell but you can also add in more modern things like the virtual keeper

Making some space at the arena for an archive with programmes and newspapers, kit collection, a few key pieces, maybe move the bus up there too. Combine it with a few interactive things, a look behind the scenes, I’d go for a day out just for the hell of it.

There would have to be a Hall of Fame, with new inductees every year just to give us extra reason to argue over what constitutes a legend.

We could have the clothes line of lucky pants where everybody could donate the pants they were wearing when we won an important game, I'd pay to see that
