SISU all over that..

It's the only idea to get football back in Coventry. The cheaper the better is surely the mantra for all geniune CCFC fans on here.

and to hell with the Coventry taxpayers.

Why are you so against Sisu paying market rate?

So lets get this straight. If a market rare for a player is £2 million and the club had an opportunity to get that player for free you'd rather "we did the right thing" and pay £2 million?

That would be a very rare deal indeed, LOL

Just to be clear 2 years ago we were directionless and the council were holding us to ransom demanding unfair rent. So in that context moving to a new stadium made sense.

However when we were put into liquidation that changed things for me. The council were willing to negotiate bit only with new buyers it seemed

Two years on, we are homeless and now SISU are holding us to ransom demanding an unfair deal.

I am not sure what else you expected the outcome to be.

What's the unfair deal they are demanding? Please reveal all.

It might just be me...but 90% of your posts tend to suggest you are a right tosser! Not the same at all. Think outside of football. Whatever the council loses the local taxpayer pays for. That might not concern people with lots of free cash...but some are on a shoestring budget & would tip over the edge. You think that's fair play just so that SISU get the Ricoh cheap?
I am NEVER going to a home match a Sickfields. I live over 100 miles from Coventry...never even lived there - but my affinity to club AND city appears stronger than some who claim to be born & bred & bleed sky blue!.

Really? So explain to me how the individual taxpayer loses?

Yeah, that's because you were not prepared to play ball .......new kids on the block and you were not prepared to suck up to local Govt. You're not from round here, are you?

Only 90%?!?

Bazza, you're too kind.

Says the poster who called all season ticket holders last season worms...or was it scum? Remind us which was it?

And this coming from a poster that says any true sky Blues supporter would give sisu the Ricoh for nothing.

Well after supporting the City for over 40 years s and not wanting Sisu to get the ricoh for nothing or even on the cheap I suppose that means I am not a Coventry fan?

Sorry grendel but you really are a right Knob of the highest order.

So you agree with dadgad that season ticket holders are worms? How odd.

No where have I said that.
You are just trying to change the subject.
I also do not agree that just because you support acl or sisu or go to sixfields or don't or are a hiller makes you a less of a supporter unlike your good self.

I have good friends in all camps we go to away matches together they have there reasons for what they do I have mine. I go to the hill I tie ribbons I don't like sisu but I am as passionate as the next man when it comes to CCFC.

I do not want Sisu getting the Ricoh for nothing and yes I would prefer that they didn't get it at all, my view and if that makes me a Vile supporter then so be it.

Will be at Bradford on Sunday and MK and any other away game I can make will we see you at any this season, I have not seen you post on any of the game threads this season???????

If you bother to read what I actually say for once I have consistently stated I will not be at any game until the club returns to Coventry. A fact many such as you conveniently overlook.

But why you keep saying that the Ricoh is shit so why then will it be any better if Sisu own it???
So you might as well just stay away and say "I have seen my last ever CCFC game"

Let's all stop trying to make out that only real, true or genuine fans are the ones just doing things we approve of.

(All my true fans will agree, 7% of you will share this on your walls and the other 93% are in favour of cot death)

How many football players are currently owned by the Coventry taxpayer?

Yes, thats the point and quoting player's fees isn't the issue. Weather CCFC pay £2M for a player or get him for nothing, its a decision for the club and owners. Ratepayers don't have any say in how SISU spend (or don't spend) their money, its none of their business. But when its selling off something on the cheap which their rates have been spent on, obviously there is a difference. Grendel can spin it as much as he wants to make CCC look like the bad guys over the fee, don't know why. I could understand it if he gave us some reason for the grudge, like he was bed ridden and the council decided to sell his house to a developer and stick him in a nursing home.

Two things Baz...1. This is Football and 2. The local taxpayer weren't consulted about council offering loans....say £14m.....

What did we do in order to create the situation in which we get the player at a knock down price?

You were promoting SISU's business tactics before Grendel.
It was pointed out to you that soon they would do something that completely screws the fans and at that this would be by using the same tactics that you laud.
Now they have and you currently don't get to watch your team live.
Yet somehow you still defend them.
Quite bizarre to say the least

It's not defending them its negative the myth that the taxpayer is effected.

I believe the accepted council contribution was £10 million. The notion anyway a sale is going to be less than that is pie in the sky.

Taxpayers will lose or gain nothing whatever happens.

If course the club will benefit if the assett is purchased at a relatively low price.

But 80% of Coventry residents don't give a toss about CCFC.

So why would they want the Club to get it on the cheap?

I am a CCFC supporter and don't want Sisu to get it full stop. sorry if that makes me a ACL apologist then so be it, but they have gone past defending I hate them and all they stand for.

And before you reply they don't stand for or care about CCFC.
