Of course Carlton Palmer isn't a legend. He was effective in doing McAllister's dirty work to release him to have by far his most productive season from open play for us, but legend? No chance.

As he left to join Watford in January on loan before joining Sheffield Wednesday I am merely questioning the accuracy of your logic. To be fair he did play one more game that season on 20 January vs Everton - we lost.

He's arrogant in his interview when he assumes we all forgive him-indeed he doesn't think there's even anything to forgive, he uses the word "understand". Well he played 31 games not 14, that's a fact. Back on topic, Dublin isn't a legend to me, nor many fans. He is to some. But not 99.9%. I think that's all I have left to say on the matter.
A legend to some? I would say to many. It appears to me there is a small handful of vocal dissenters on this thread that do not speak for the majority. The pissed off minority always shout louder than the masses.
Most influential striker to have played for this club, arguably of all-time (anybody outside of the top flight cannot be considered). It was an absolute joy to watch him play in sky blue.
