Not sure this season is really much different from any other we genuinely started very well.

We've got 40 points from 27 games, at 27 games in (assuming all teams broadly have played 27 we'd be):

(Year : Place : Points off 6th)

2021: 7th : 2
2020: 7th : 2
2019: 8th : 3

The team in 6th each time has 1.55 - 1.59 ppg so working forward to 29 games played as per 6th placed West Brom this season you'd expect them to be on 45 or 46 at 29 games. West Brom have got 45 points from 29 games.

Funny you should say that, my mate works for Sky, went to Oggys Gaff in Leamington yesterday, was speaking about the club and Oggy commented that the club are happy with top half thats the target, they know they aren't ready squad wise for play offs
