I'd agree.
Players really respect him and want to work for him.... siege mentality there too.
Though still doesn't sit right that they can pay wages bigger than ours to some players despite being in administration and owing others so much cash (which they'll end up not paying back).
We need to be at full strength on Saturday to think about getting anything from there.
While I think he has done a good job generally, he has got a decent first 11 with a good few players who are at least top half Championship standard.

Albion 1 up, Fulham not had a shot on target, Bruce is back!
Not sure how good of a result that is if it stays that way. I'd want WBA to be in the same downward trajectory.

Good news - Menghi (Blues) hamstring - probably out for our game, Forest have Cook and left back (on loan from sheff Utd) both ut for 6 weeks, so miss out against us. Derby lost, so will be on a downer. Some things going in our favour (plus Bournemouth have gone to pot)

I’m really not sure how you can say that when we are 5 points off playoffs with a game in hand, and ten games to go? Are we looking at the same table

I’m not saying it’ll happen, but it’s hardly a miracle. Very much within reach
Don't forget us still having to play Nottingham Forest, Blackburn, Huddersfield, Bournemouth and Fulham who are all above us in the table

Of course it isn't over!

Not over, but you couldn’t really pick a tougher run of games. 5 away games against local rivals plus the top 3 and probably requiring 7 wins. That said, we do tend to play well against the better teams and it’s an opportunity to take points off some rivals.

Blackburn (H), Forest (A) and Fulham (A) within 8 days will be where the season is decided. Probably need 6 points minimum

With the run in , and with us playing catch up already , it would be a miracle imho ..

Could be decided if we don’t win tonight and vs Derby.
It’s a cliche but they’re all cup finals from here on in. Unless of course we lose a few then we can all just relax.

For me we have to win the next 2 and then beat Blackburn to stand a chance, not saying it won't happen but very difficult.

Don't know about that. If we win our next 2 matches, which theoretically should be doable, Forest beat QPR, Blackpool beat Sheffield utd, Luton drop points, and we're right back in it.

Ofcourse that's true .

Looking realistically

We have the top 4 to play in our final 8 games after the 2 in question , if we are to do it , it would be done the hard way

6 of our last 8 games are top half teams infact

I would be targeting wins against Hull, Derby, Blackburn, Birmingham, Huddersfield & Stoke, then hope for a point or two from the remaining games v WBA/Forest/Bournemouth/Fulham. That would take us to around 72-73 points. Whether that's enough or not...

Personally think it's too much , be over the moon for the team to do it obviously
Yeah, tbh if we can just be involved and in with a shout for as long as possible that'll be great.

It's funny, I'm not bothered about being in the Prem as I think it would be shit for many reasons, but I do want to be involved in a promotion race as the thrill of the chase is better than the end result.

Fixtures are actually quite kind to us, Every chance from the Fulham game onwards, we'll be up against teams that have nothing to play for.

You seem to suggest that Sheff Utd will show form equivalent to 107 points over a season, Middlesbrough 100 points?

Kind fixtures and they have it in them

Teams can go on run of 4 or 5 wins on the spin. For that 5 game block said team would be showing form equivalent to 100 points over a season would they not?

Data can be interpreted any way someone wants it to be
