Last freakishly desperate throw of the dice for Huddersfield.
So much for Warnock saying he is finished with management, must need another pay check.
No he lives in Cornwall and doesn't need the money - just can't stay retired
They must’ve looked in the market and turned their nose up.
Naaaah, get Warnock on the phone!
Smells of panic.
Every chance Cardiff have played a home game more.Wigan have only seven of their last sixteen games at home.I do think nearly every match left in the championship could effect the top six or relegation.Good to hear 'Colin Wanker' is back...but it wont save them imho
If Warnock saves Huddersfield from relegation he'd be a miracle worker.

Genuinely doubt it's anything at all to do with moneyVery healthy bonus waiting for him I bet.

We just need Harry Redknapp to take the helm at WiganPeople need to check his record out in this league. He has started off with numerous hopeless cases and turned them round. I would expect the same this time, and those people thinking that our upcoming game at their place hasn't become more difficult are sadly deluded.
Is he going to commute? No he lives in Cornwall and doesn't need the money - just can't stay retired

No signs of the traditional post-Christmas Mowbray collapse at Sunderland. They’re now in the playoff spots, with the fourth best goal difference in the league.
I don't think 72 will be enough.it really is a crazy league
Saturday becomes massive again - win that, and then we start to look towards the top 6
we probably need 29 points from 15 games - at least 8 wins
so its possible as below, but no more slip ups - the below gives us 72 - I think we probably finish on 63-65
H
Sunderland W
Hull D
Blackpool W
Stoke W
Watford L
Reading W
Birmingham W
A
Rotherham W
Preston L (always lose there)
Huddersfield W
Wigan W
Swansea L (always lose there)
Qpr D
Blackburn D
Middlesbrough W (one off decider)
I think they also have the youngest squad in the league. Got to hand it to them, they are going great guns for their first season back. What's more surprising with Sunderland is that they have done so well even though their main forward has been, and is injured. They are on a bit of a roll at the moment and our match against them in a couple of weeks is going to be much tougher than any of us expected at the start of the season. Fair play to Mowbray too, when he went there I thought he was taking on a poisoned chalice.
Think its fair to say city are almost safe from relegation really .
12 points clear with 15 to play
Daft sending off for Huddersfield on top of the result.Hard to see anything other than the current bottom 3 being the ones to go down at this moment. Certainly no sign of a McCarthy inspired turnaround at Blackpool and likewise very early days but not a good start for Warnock. The standard of the lower reaches of the table is probably worse than the last couple of seasons.
Have done for a while... their form (without looking) must be at least on a par with WBA... both well below us during our run of form....Middlesborough look good

Been reading about WBA things looking potentially very bleak for them if they fail to get promotion. Massive debts and wage bill their owner Lai has taken a Wonga stile £20 million high interest loan and has so far reneged on repaying a £5mllion loan he had from the club think their parachute money has run out too so there’s another 40odd million quid out of their budget, squeaky bum time I think at West BromCoberans honeymoon period looks to be ending there too. They were on fire few weeks ago. Turns toxic there very quickly.
Hudds started with Waghorn at CF last night.Warnock wasn’t in charge tonight, his first game in the dugout will be on Saturday against Blues.

He’s not a Warnock type striker, let’s hope there’s no send-back option else we might have to be paying out some.
Warnock always used to like big fuggers up front. I’ll laugh my sausage off if he sticks big Hudlin in.
(To those new to the forum, a couple of years ago I suggested Waghorn was a strange signing given his age and wage. No sell on possibility and a big chunk of budget and we had no back up to Vik.
At the time there was paper talk of Man City, SWFC, Celtic etc looking at this big 20/21 yo student who was playing at Moors - local and cheap to develop. Got ridiculed and still do.
Fair enough - he’s pulled no trees and it was a bad shout. Still maintain that he was a better use of funds than Waghorn, but Hudlin was a bad shout - I’ll own it.
Now then, if there’s one manager in the world that’ll stick Hudlin in it’s Warnock.
It’ll just be funny if he actually does something)
