Middlesbrough have made a £7.6million (€9m) offer for Venezia striker Thomas Henry, reports Sky in Italy.
Serie A clubs including Verona are also interested in the 27-year-old Frenchman.

For me the best and most complete performance of last season was the 4-1 hammering of the blunts , showed just what we are capable of
I agree it was a great performance. Should have put to bed that idea that Gyokeres and Godden can't play well together

Just 1 thing that worries me. Since MR has been Manager, we win our home games and lose our away games till the season is halfway through. I so want the win against this lot but history says no. Please History, CHANGE.... PUYSB,

referring to Sunderland 1st game.

Hull just signed a Turkish winger for 16 Mill + 4 Mill in add ons.

Take it that’s the direct replacement for the 20 Mill they received for Lewis- Potter already spent.

So annoying that shite clubs like Hull end up with decent owners. Has to be our turn one day right?

They won't be decent owners if they end up in shit creek long-run though...

I fully get your point. We all want a bit of excitement, but sometimes boring is sensible. It can also be naive. I think it's too early to make a judgment on if either policy is good, but in true boring fashion, I trust that MR knows what he is doing and wouldn't still be here if he didn't think we can make progress over the mid future. Let's hope these loanees (should they happen) can push us on another level.
