Looking at this has made me feel slightly better about the other day

To put it into perspective it’s really not a crap League to be staying in, some big clubs to come up against, a fair few games with a bit of needle involved and some decent away trips

I know others just want to switch off from the footy for a while but if anything I’m just thirsty for August to roll around, bring it on PUSB

I was thinking the same. The dissapointment didn’t last long. Looking forward to an exciting season with lots of big games. Hopefully we’ll be right in the mix.

Don’t get me wrong I’m still gutted but you can’t let it play on your mind

Leading up to the game, the only two things on my mind were experiencing the potential jubilation at Wembley and the millions of pounds the club would have got - Likelihood is we’d have been whipping boys anyway (although we will never know)

I was envious of Luton yesterday but I’m sure there will be times next season when they are getting humped off City, Liverpool or Arsenal etc. where I won’t envy them one bit

I don't envy them, they will be whipping boys, no fun at all. A very strong championship next season, hard to pick too many weak teams maybe Plymouth and Rotherham. Should be fascinating and entertaining . Maybe a rebuilding season for City but we should still be confident in doing OK. We are in a much better place off field than we have been for years and in Mark Robins we have best manager in league and I am sure his recruitment during the summer will be decent. I would love Hamer to stay PUSB

They may be whipping boys but from my personal perspective it would have been an awesome experience seeing the likes of De Bruyne, Haaland etc rocking up at the CBS. The biggest thing for me though is the financial prize which if used properly now secures Luton's future for many years to come.... hands up I'm a bit jealous of that.

We are always one year behind Luton. Next year is our year mark my words.

On paper it looks an interesting division, sky bet have us at 25/1 to win it with Ipswich above us at 14/1

It does look a tough league on paper, you could pick 12x sides that could finish in the top 6

Thankfully football is played on grass and the summer transfer window isn't open yet. However I understand why fellow fans may be anxious, we need a good 10x new players at least (mix of perm and loan) to give it a real good go

Trust the process

Lot of big name clubs on that list but a lot with big finance issues and having to try and get high paid stars out the door, there will be a number of re-built squads. We are building from a standing start with no debt doesn’t mean we should spend millions but careful new signings I think will make us a better team.
