You don't need a massive budget to string a few passes together mate. Come on its been absolutely piss poor and tactically something has to give. I'm not even saying sack him for goodness but its not been good has it.

Not necessarily - I’d back us to have had 2 wins if we played Wycombe in our first 8 gamesRotherham are competing much better than us so far this season which I find fairly inexcusable.

OK so their wage bill was higher than ours last season, despite that we proved we were a better team with better players... since then we have also spent more on new players than them. So we should be aiming to finish above them really, should we not? They had a 60% bigger wage budget than us in 2019 when figures were last released, I'd call that pretty significant.
Do you not agree that they've had a much more favourable run of games than us & still struggled?
I tend to ignore the obnoxious prick, but no doubt he is being “controversial”Grendal has started the taxi
I completely agree Clint, I rarely spout off about the team on here but if I can't do it here where can I do it. We've been flipping shite, I'm fed up, I'm chatting about being fed up.It's not been good. I've not said anything different. But I think there are mitigating circumstances and our support are being too harsh on the players.
We have to make changes to 5he way we're doing thinks and we have to adapt to life in this league a lot quicker but there's plenty of time to turn things round.
3-0 to Rotherham at half time

Its not really about who has played who, Rotherham compete and put themselves in with a chance in just about every game they play. Thus far, we have not.

We should be aiming to finish above them yes, nothing to say we won't though is there?
We've only played 8 games...
Of course who has played who is relevant. You'd fancy your chances against Wycombe (the only team they'd beaten before tonight) more than against Bournemouth wouldn't you?
They were smashed 3-0 by Reading so as long as we lose by less than 3 clear goals on Friday night we'll have competed better than them right?
2-1 BluesHuddersfield equalise
He's literally picked the only game Rotherham performed badly in as an example. I find these excuses really bemusing. Our par defeat is by 2 goals but a red card could put that under threat so hope the lads keep it tight at 0-2
There's nothing to say we won't, but if we keep playing the way we are we most certainly will not.We should be aiming to finish above them yes, nothing to say we won't though is there?

So would I but again its not really my point. Rotherham are playing better than us, they look more of a threat than us, they look less shaky at the back than us. Why is this so difficult to comprehend? Not necessarily - I’d back us to have had 2 wins if we played Wycombe in our first 8 games

Its not even the current points total that worries me, its pretty much to be expected. The way we've been playing is far more worrying. We look all over the place. My minimum expectation is to not look all over the place. The MO is just to assume that people are critical because they expect us to dominate established teams in this league

I'd also like to think we'll compete better against the lesser teams too mate, and hopefully by the time we play them we'll have sorted ourselves out. If we play like we have the last few games it won't matter who we're playing, we've been a disjointed, non threatening mess. What I'm picking is that it's absurd to be judging after only 8 games, especially when the quality of opposition has been completely different. Brentford were 17th at this stage last season & ended up missing out on the Premier League by a whisker.
Nobody thinks we've been doing well but there is some mitigation there in stupid red cards, quality of opposition & some key players being unavailable.
I would like to think we'll compete much better against some of the lesser sides in the division than against Bournemouth & Brentford. If we don't then I will start being concerned.
Lack of self belief won’t be helped with our leader sat on the benchExactly, and if MR is already questioning the players' self-belief at this point it explains an awful lot. Seems like learned helplessness originating from the Bournemouth game
Yep it seems the Bournemouth game absolutely knocked the stuffing out of them. Mad to think that confidence can be so brittle after romping away with a league.Exactly, and if MR is already questioning the players' self-belief at this point it explains an awful lot. Shipley & Allen need dropping mate maybe play Kelly,Sheaf,Hamer with O’Hare behind 2 strikersI expect him to be in for Shipley on Friday
Ordinarily we'd have won the title on the pitch and carried that momentum through from the same pre season as everyone else. As it is, we won it in a way which dented that somewhat. Motivating players under such circumstances isn't easy but they need reminding that they're here on merit, they've earnt the right to be on that pitch and even though the opposition is strong they're not invincible. We've had very good chances, even if just a few, in every game.

Well it is. Swap The Bournemouth game for Wycombe and we’d have near enough identical results and we’d be saying we’ve started the season wellSo would I but again its not really my point. That is a fair point. I also really do think the players could with some fans in the stands now. Let's face it, we're not winning away anyway so that won't matter. Need to get some support behind them at St Andrews.I expect him to be in for Shipley on Friday

What do you mean 'well it is'? I know what my point is.Well it is. Swap The Bournemouth game for Wycombe and we’d have near enough identical results and we’d be saying we’ve started the season well
Poor choice of words. My point is they’re not making that much more of a fist of it.What do you mean 'well it is'? I know what my point is.
