I know in preseason I said we’d need all the help we could get to stay up, but we’re not relying on others already are we?!

Rotherham are competing much better than us so far this season which I find fairly inexcusable.

Whose fault is that then - whoever it is, let's have a go at them, or sack them.

Better equipped possibly as wasn’t too long before they bounced back
Its their style, always going to put them in with a fighting chance. We need to show a bit more fight that's for sure.

No one should be sacked, that would be very dramatic... doesn't mean you can't call a spade a spade though.

they've also been something of a yo yo club so have far more experience of this league than us. That shouldn't be underestimated. They've probably got a bigger budget as well.

I repeat none of the bottom 6 at this stage last season got relegated. Stoke and Barnsley had worse PPT ratio than ours, worse GPG ratio than ours and worse goal difference than ours and both stayed up.

The 3 relegated teams were 7, 11 and 14 points ahead of them respectively. Stop being a drama queen.
Both of those sides did so by sacking their manager early in the season.

followed by the sarcastic but it's ok everyone's saying don't panic remark and the post about where are the goals coming from.
We all know we're struggling for goals, but again, with only 8 games gone, there's time to put that right, that doesn't mean we will, but it's too early for a meltdown.
It’s a worry tho if we do find ourselves 6 a drift early on and struggling with form mate if my point

Rotherham 3-0 up v Wednesday (down to 10 men) Cue Wednesday fans calling for managers head, when about 3 games ago they'd had a strong start to the season. Chris Hughton loses tonight and Forest will be getting pelters, and QPR fans want their manager sacked. Be nice if fans got behind their manager and supported the team when it needs them.

it's a worry, but there's plenty of time to put it right, I'm not blaise about it because I know we may not but I'm not panicking yet.

Form & tactics are worrying me mate how we’ve started i felt we would start,my worry was recruiting players at the level we haven’t done that I did think we would pass a lot of teams off the park also I’ll add we haven’t looked ourselves recently

not really true in Barnsleys case, they were still in the relegation zone most of the time under Struber and pulled off an escape.
Are you suggesting we should be looking to change Robins if things don't improve soon?

but isn't recruitment down to budget, which isn't really something Robins can do anything about.
Tactics clearly need changing.

No, the opposite. I don't think the club would sack Robins nor do I think he deserves to be sacked. But the two clubs you cited both made changes in order to save themselves, they didn't just have a sudden upturn in form due to sticking it out.

Show me where I said anything is settled after 8 games please ??

I’ve said we could find ourselves 6 points adrift 3rd bottom come the weekend

Rather unlikely. Same as we could also find ourselves 3 points clear of the bottom 3 if things go perfectly...

yes we just don’t know the budget the club has but clearly it’s not great mate you make a fair point people are starting to quietly doubt the manager but if he went who comes in with no budget and works a miracle

fair enough, but as stated that's not really what happened in Barnsleys case.

How is that inexcusable?

A) They have a bigger budget than us & substantial Championship experience.

B) They've had far easier games so far
Championship experience of being relegated yes. We came up as champions let us not forget. We finished above them and should at least be matching them.

I doubt their budget it much more than ours, I'm pretty sure we spent more in the transfer window than them. Also using budget as an excuse for playing shite is going to get old very quickly.

They signed a couple of very clever attacking players. We haven’t.

I actually thought we signed some great players over the summer and now I’m realising the gulf in class between the championship and high end L1 is ridiculous. We’ve signed top L1 players in the main apart from a few.

I really am bemused by comments like this. Budget is a massive factor.
If the shoe was on the other foot and sisu had thrown 20 million Robins way pre season and we were where we were the same people would, quite correctly, be saying we shouldn't be where we are given the money we've spent.

Do you see us getting anything from reading ?

Probably not. But equally I don't see us being 6pts adrift either.

Neither of which are too relevant at this stage of the season (obviously preferable to not be adrift, of course!)

I won’t be shocked to see us sign a couple of players with champ experience in jan window

You don't need a massive budget to string a few passes together mate. Come on its been absolutely piss poor and tactically something has to give. I'm not even saying sack him for goodness but its not been good has it.

Forest way better than Luton from what I've seen. Fair play to Forest. Keep the ball much better than Luton, although may pay for being a man down.

My point was that I'm pretty sure they've spent less than us. Are you suggesting their recruitment was better than ours despite that?

They had a 60% bigger wage budget than us in 2019 when figures were last released, I'd call that pretty significant.

Do you not agree that they've had a much more favourable run of games than us & still struggled?
