Not convinced Vardy should be included with them.Watford in real danger this year i feel.
Sarr and Pedro gone, and hardly inspiring signings coming in.
Saw some pictures of Leicester in training and they have a formidable squad at this level really don't they! Ricardo Pereira, Iheanacho, Vady, Ndidi.. I can see them exceeding Burnley's points tally unfortunately.
We need to not get too despondant if we get a heavy defeat 1st game as i anticipate most teams will struggle against them this year
But crucially still keeping a hold of Gnonto and Sinisterra and well as some good young players with Champ experience now such as Cresswell, Hjelde, Gelhardt and Drameh
Leicester there remind me of Watford last season, big name players but struggled in the championship. Let's hope they repeat their fateWatford in real danger this year i feel.

got a bit bored at work and looked at the last 10 years worth of teams relegated, every year i feel we say the same about parachute payments etc and that they'll be certain to bounce back up...its just not the case, some "interesting" facts!
- out of last 30 teams relegated, only 10 have been promoted first time of asking (6 autos vs 4 playoff winners)
- out of the 20 that didn't achieve immediate promotion, only 3 got promoted in their 2nd season
- average position of relegated teams in first season in championship is 8th
- the 3 relegated teams have never all achieved immediate promotion
- There has only been 2 years where none of the relegated teams got promoted immediately
- only once has a team been relegated in their first year in the championship (i'm sure there's a documentary somewhere about that one)
Whilst i get they're favourites for obvious reasons, unlikely they'll all do well.
agree - only once have all teams ended in the top 6I was saying this to my mate the other day.
Its very unusual for all 3 relegated teams to seriously challenge.
You often have one that gets an auto place, one that just misses the play offs, and one that ends up about 13th
They bought a lot of wank for about £10m a pop, no suprise really.

Basically we need 1 of the 3 to shit the bed to have any chance don't we. Which of of the 3 would people pick to potentially flop?
not sure on payments size or when they've increased tbf.The parachute payments have got larger over that period though haven't they? Does the data suggest the likelihood of bouncing back up is greater in 2022 than it was in 2012?

West Ham have been linkedAre Southampton keeping Ward-Prowse?? Thought he’d have gone by now and I haven’t even seen him linked to anyone
Best time to play them before guaridola lite can implement tiki taka fullyEveryone has Leicester winning it but I don’t see it. Coady was poor last season for Everton hence why they chose not to sign permanently. Never rated winks, lost their 2 best players from last season. Glad we are playing them first day give them a proper welcome to the championship.
He’s a risky appointment, I’m pretty sure he got sacked after a third of a season by Parma.Best time to play them before guaridola lite can implement tiki taka fully
Yeah he did. Can't remember anyone raving about their great football eitherHe’s a risky appointment, I’m pretty sure he got sacked after a third of a season by Parma.
In their first friendly they were already playing the Man City formation where the right back moves into central midfield. It will be interesting to see how it works in the championship.Best time to play them before guaridola lite can implement tiki taka fully

you are quite right. i only looked at last 10 years, they got "double relegated" the year before i started looking - good knowledgeI think Wolves also did it, got relegated after 1 championship season to League 1 for the year we were at sixfields

Yep - feel this is absolutely the case - three very strong sides. That is interesting.
Fear these three are fairly strong by usual standards. Southampton and Leicester had a long stretch in the Prem, and Leeds are Leeds, despite being a bit of a mess, still have a very able squad.
It's how they adapt to a lower level, bit being used to it. If they treat teams with respect, work hard, they'll do well. If they think it'll be a walk in the park...That is interesting.

Coady is fucked - went off injured in a friendlyEveryone has Leicester winning it but I don’t see it. Coady was poor last season for Everton hence why they chose not to sign permanently. Oh no !Coady is fucked - went off injured in a friendly
I think I read somewhere that they land back from their vanity trip to Thailand about 4 days before our game is scheduled - Fuckers, hope it’s a bumpy flight and they’re all knackeredOh no !
That just leaves them with Harry Souttar (£15-£20m), Wout Faes (£15m), Jannik Vestergaard(£15m), and Callum Doyle.Coady is fucked - went off injured in a friendly
