That'll do as we win tomorrow.

Baggies unlikely to catch now and we have Boro at home. Bristol still have Leeds and Sunderland.

Not a bad nuight.

I don't get this 'they have so and so to play' stuff. It doesn't mean anything. Oxford, Luton, Swansea, Derby and Millwall have all recently taken points off three teams that apparently we had no right to expect anything from (and didn't). We give those teams way too much respect.

Well, aren't we living a charmed life? Things are very much in our hands now after tonight's results.
The next three games are crucial - culminating with our meeting with WBA.
Only got ourselves to blame if we don't show some bollocks.

Baggies only 3 pts off top six.
Nowhere near done.

Their form has nosedived at the wrong time and they have Watford at home before playing us away so it’s not getting any easier for them.

We need QPR to beat Bristol City this weekend but I’m confident their away form will keep them out the Top 6.

If we beat Portsmouth tomorrow they will be 5 points behind us. Millwall are on the same number of points as WBA.
To get to 70 both need over 2 points a game. Not happening.

ok, if you say so but to get to the 70 points which people think is the target they need 4 wins and a draw

unlikely also if we win it's 5 points

TBF after that run of the last 3 games, no way were we still going to be in the play offs, that’s when teams caught us, it’s down to us now, all massive games now, just hope we can handle it

That’s what I mean, prefer Sunderland over 2 games against either of those, fuck It, bring em all on
On paper, if we can beat Sunderland and somehow end up with Bristol or Middlesbrough in the final, it's the only way I can see us gaining promotion. We'd still be the underdogs, but I favour Bristol to beat Burnley/Leeds/Sheffield more than us, and we'd have A chance against them at Wembley, they'd have all the momentum though.

Why not? Getting a win tomorrow v Pompey puts us back in the top 6 with games v Hull, WBA, Plymouth, Luton and Boro. There’s an easily 4 wins in this block of games.

Bristol City have won 4 games away all season and have to play Leeds away. I don’t think they’ll go the distance. Same with Boro, some tough games to play too and their form can be streaky and they will not want to come away to us needing a win to finish in the Top 6.

Sunderland can in theory still get 3rd which they may see as an easier game in the play offs

Have received a couple of texts from my Blues supporting mates, informing me of their promotion back to the Championship (like I give a fuck).

2 defeats on the spin for the Blunts since we rolled over for them and a few on here were fawning over them.

In fairness, that FK from Hamer put us on the back foot. Can’t do nothing about that but Sheff U are not a team you can concede the first goal against, nor Burnley!
