'could' is probably the key word there. can't really see them starting to throw hundreds of people out

Surprised it's taken this long for clubs to try and do something about the ridiculous number of counterfeit shirts. We all know shirts are a rip off but buying counterfeit is just taking money away from the club in question before you even consider where that money is ending up
A good thing to do to encourage people to wear genuine shirts is to make them cheaper.

This, football is a working class sport, cost of living is rough for people, then the expectation of kids wanting full kits, tickets to games or season ticket prices, food at the match, travel to get there, yada yada...list goes on, it's a decision that's made much easier due to how much cheaper they are.

This was the worst performance on opening day since our return to the Championship and I am not exaggerating. Think back to our 2-1 loss to Bristol City, 2-1 win over Forest, 1-1 draw vs Sunderland and last season’s 2-1 loss against Leicester. All of those performances were far better than today. The common thread in all those performances was Hamer. We have not replaced him and until we do we will not get promoted. Plain and simple

"You're getting f*cked on the tele" to the blues fans

I normally shut the football world off if we lose but I'm enjoying this.

EDIT: Now I hate football again.

I don't buy the "it's taking money away from the club" argument to be honest. I don't think people would buy a shirt at all if they didn't buy the counterfeit one.

Either way, a good fake might actually encourage somebody to buy the genuine item!

We didn't play that well v Forest to be fair, only came alive in the second half. Likewise at Sunderland. It's nothing to do with Hamer.

I think we need to go back to the days where shirts lasted two seasons. Last time we did that was 2013-2015, I think.

Wednesday playing well, Bannan running the show.

Rooney not wearing a t-shirt with the club badge on it, could they not find one in he's size. 🤣

Wayne Rooney's Plymouth Argyle© aren't looking great

I wonder how long it will be before the fans sing, sacked in the morning, sacked in the morning. 🤣

Wednesday players look so much faster/sharper than Plymouth, who can barely get out of their own half.

When that day comes and MR is no longer our manager, would definitely like to see the Wednesday manager here, there a very well drilled team who know exactly what they are doing

The bigger teams and national sides are absolutely taking the piss these days. If anything those clubs should be able to sell at a lower price given the economies of scale they can achieve vs lower league sides. To be charging £70 or over £100 in many cases is a blatant rip off of your own fans.

3-0 fairer reflection, although Plymouth don't really deserve 0. Have to feel sorry for their fans. If you're playing Sheff Wed, you have to put a reducer in on Bannan. Half the team without him.

Awful first game for Rooney, but he's not the one out there defending terribly.

Danny Rohl has got Wednesday playing really well. Reckon they'll end up top half.
