If Leeds somehow finish in the play offs then it's game over for everyone else.
Doesn't feel like Blunts and Burnley should even be close but here we are.
If Leeds finish in the playoffs what would that do for them mentally? Doubt creeping in all over the squad I'd imagine. Definitely a chance they'd get the yips.

Honestly as slim as I think our chances of winning the playoffs I feel like my order of preference to play would be Sheffield United, Leeds then Burnley.

Burnley just seem a bit machine like, 1-0 merchants. Less scope for them having an off day.

For me I'm still most worried about wba Middlesbrough and Norwich

Not ruling out Blackburn and Bristol obviously but still feel like Norwich and Boro are bigger dangers of making top 6(and yes I'm aware of terrible run Boro on)

Norwich have yielded average results for some time. With Sainz not scoring since November they're now pretty much solely reliant on Sargent for goals which is problematic over the course of a block of games.

To be honest any of the 3 should be too good for the playoffs. Sheff Utd the most beatable but too many cheat codes in the team.
Blunts have been outclassed by Leeds and Burnley when they've played them. They tend to shithouse narrow wins, fair play I suppose, but they certainly seem the most beatable.

It's written in the football stars. Coventry beat Sunderland is the playoffs scoring a winner in 15th minute of added time in 2nd leg.
Then play Sheff Utd in the final with jamie Paterson coming on as a sub a scoring a late winner.

I’d put Sunderland ahead of Sheff Utd and Leeds in terms preferred playoff opponents.

Oh yeah for sure. The current top 3 are so far ahead I meant more if one has to lose out on automatic promotion and drop into the playoffs that's my preferred order.

Sunderland in the semi is written in the stars 🤩

Gonna be a massive task whoever we get. It's a massive achievement just to be there from the point we were at when Robins left. We have to give it a good go but ideally Leeds and Burnley getting promoted in the autos would be good for us if we are still in the division next year. Sheffield United and Sunderland could potentially be a bit screwed if they fail to go up and we are ant the league as well as possible

They’ll just continue to powerhouse this level.
Yeah exactly, they'll just continue to get 90pts +. We need them gone.

If we aren't going up then I'd want rid of Leeds and Burnley and probably Sheffield United although I feel like they have been gambling financially so might implode if not promoted.

Ipswich, Leicester, Southampton ⬇️
Leeds, Burnley, Sheffield United ⬆️
---------------------------
Derby, Luton, Plymouth ⬇️
Birmingham, Wycombe, Wrexham ⬆️

Can't make my mind up on the Prem teams coming down. Ipswich seem to have a stable owners and a squad that bar a few will probably stay together. Leicester are weird, can't see many of their players being poached and could have a bunch of sulking 'stars' feeling like they are slumming it in the Chapionship. Saints zero idea again probably keep the majority of their squad and bring back Armstrong could be a force.

Then up from League 1 Birmingham will be stronger, the rest won't make any impact. Wycombe will do their usual. Would like to see Wrexham up then battered weekly Infront of the Disney cameras but that's just through spite.

Overall I think it'll be a weaker Championship next season, if we don't go up this year there aren't that many obvious losses to replace, a decent bit to invest. We could be looking very strong. It all hinges on actually having a decent start, and not waiting until Christmas to get our shit together

All season and lot on here speak very disparaging of Sheffield United, and honestly i cannot see why

They are joint top with a 2 point deduction. They are a quality side with the best keeper in the league in Michael Cooper, players like Ahmedhozic at the back, and of Course Hamer etc

Genuinely don't see why people feel they are so beatable. Personally feel our next defeat happens at Bramall Lane at the end of the month.

I'm the opposite in regards to Burnley, i wouldn't mind them in a final whatsoever. Yes they keep clean sheets but in a one off final anything can happen and if we were to score first, everything's out the window

Sunderland i don't want in the final if we get there. Sods law it will be the 1 time they ever beat us, and the day would be ruined by the inevitable trouble

They are flat-track bullies who specialise in unconvincing wins against inferior opposition. They have 1 win against the current top 6 so far. Tbf even my mate who supports them says they have been poor.
It would be tough sure but I'd take them over Burnley all day.

We got a point against Sheff U. We didn’t lay a glove on Burnley
We barely laid a glove on Leeds, but I think a Wembley final with our fans behind us would be a different story.

Going into the game with Luton, I never had the feeling we were going to do it. This has 1987 vibes for me.
