Apparently so, maybe we should play in red as the most successful club in England play in red therefore red = successWill us playing in a different colour win us more games ? Yes or no Otis ?

I know you are being sarcastic here but that is how this whole thread comes across.Yes, cos this is obviously only about changing the kit.
That is exactly what we have been saying here. Change the kit and we will win games.

Well obviously the answer is yes.
Fook me, this is hard work. We need to think about changing everything. This isn't about the kit. But if we consider changing everything then the kit obviously forms part of that whole package. People here are ignoring the fact that we need change and are only talking about us changing the kit!!
Can we not at least revert to stripes?
Scientifically proven to make players appear bigger and it did give us our greatest success in our history.
We got relegated from the PL in stripes.
Come on we all want to get back to chocolate brown.
Ok I respect your opinion, yes there is something seriously wrong with the club. The club does need rebuilding right from the coaching staff, the playing squad, the board room and owners and the day to day running of the club from the bottom. We need to create a feel good factor and get the community involved and have a whole city uniting behind a football club. As Thorn said in his interview we need everyone to be pulling in the same direction, that includes everyone in the council the people living in the city and everyone involved in the club. The football club should be the heart of the community, when you enter a public place it should be full of the sky blue strip. Instead all you see are the Red and Blue of clubs like Manchester United and Liverpool. Before and after games the local pubs should be packed to the rafters buzzing and singing songs, instead they are half empty and sounding like a funeral. But why does it come across that way that this is just about the kit?
Think everyone pretty much agrees that there is something seriously wrong with this club of ours.
All the suggestion is is that we should look at everything from top to bottom. We shouldn't necessarily rule anything out. Can understand the thinking here because we haven't always beent he Sky Blues and have only been so since 1962. Before that we were the Bantams and played in dark blue and white.
Just think we need a complete re-think from top to bottom.

What we do need is someone to come in with a vision as Jimmy Hill did.

I know it's an old cliche, but we need someone to ride in on his white horse and grab this club by the scruff of the neck and give it a big shaking.
I agree but changing badges, kit etc. is trivial if they don't have the passion, determination and drive to turn the club around on and off the pitch and in the community. Changing the colour of the kits is unneeded for the club to move forward. What we do need is someone to come in with a vision as Jimmy Hill did.

Never mind the kit. Let's change the song. Think of the words.....
Let's all sing together, Play up Sky Blues, (They haven't)
While we sing together (doesn't happen enough)
We will never lose (Ha! Joke line!)
Tottenham or Chelsea, United or anyone (Never again!)
They shan't defeat us (No??)
We'll fight till the game is won. (like they did on saturday?)
We should wear yellow shirts just to show how cowardly we have become as a team.
I've just waded through 10 pages of this, my jaw dropping lower with each car-crash of a page. Paxman posturing himself as the new Lawrence Llewelyn Bowen, Otis prematurely nailing his colours to the mast and then furiously backtracking.
Can someone make the Benny Hill soundtrack play to complete my joy, please?
A kit can also make a difference. It has been scientifically proven. Wearings stripes for instance creates the illusion of players seeming bigger.
I am pretty sure that if any team wore a pink kit this could well be considered to be a weakness.
Just the way it is.
