Can't see that
No that is wrong, our fan was goading him and then the Chesterfield keeper body slammed our fan into the groundChesterfield keeper attacked according to there board?

Keeper lucky to not get sent off for that. I think it was Christie a couple of seasons ago who got booked for tripping a fan up when the fan came on to the pitch.
I thought he had a good game today. On another point would it be fair to say Haynes filled in fairly well today?
Massive January coming up.
Crewe, Walsall, Burton, Southend.
Need 3 wins there.

Obviously not the best result but I think we need a few more glass half full fans. At the start of the season people were talking about a relegation battle, now we're moaning that it might 'only' be the play offs.
For me its always been the aim to stay in touch until the January window and hopefully then kick on. If anything our dip in form might be to our advantage if TM goes to ask for a few more quid as crowds are up.
With the lack of CBs and games in quick succession I'm relatively OK with how we've gone over Xmas. We now need to get a replacement for Reda / Turner and make sure we hang on to our loans (or get suitable replacements). Things can change quickly, got some big top of the table games coming up, win those and things will be looking great.
Take that. Away point
Let's try to build a new unbeaton run now
Not Definitely manager getting it wrong. Maybe arma and Murphy wouldn't have had success vs a fresh defence
Not quite fair on Oldham. They have lost just ONE away league match all season. It's not about being unbeaten it's about winning. We played a team who lose their last 6 games. We played Oldham who are dire. 4 points dropped in those 2 games. Could be very influential come end of season. December was supposed to be an easy month and turned out poor
And just to conclude, this 'bad' run has left us just 4 points off top place.
I think some need a great big dose of reality. 4 points of top place is still a great place to be and as I say, we now have the January window to try and strengthen the squad further. Still all looking very rosy in the Sky Blue garden.
Indeed we are and Sheff Utd should have been at least a point and probably all 3 for us.Last two posts Otis bang on. Sheff Utd was very unfortunate. Oldham we should have closed out but as you say a hard to beat side. Today was a tough away game with a new Manager coming in. It is a long season and we are about half way. We are ahead of schedule I would say compared to when Mowbray arrived.

You just can't win with fans though. Many posters calling for Armstrong to be dropped as he 'hasn't done anything of late,' 'is off form,' 'is tired.'
As soon as we are losing in the game and not creating enough it's 'why didn't TM play Armstrong?'
If this is our bad run I will take this every day of the week.
We as fans have no idea as to how tired Armstrong is, or if Murphy is carrying a slight injury etc. etc. I don't know why Mowbray is playing Fortune ahead of Tudgay, but I trust the bloke and he must have his reasons.
Changes HAD to be made today. We had no choice. 2 games in 3 days and you have to believe TM thought Armstrong needed a rest and Murphy wouldn't be able to manage two starts in such a short space of time.
If Armstrong now comes bounding back, banging in the goals after a bit of a rest, then that would be a fantastic boost for the side. He's only 18 and to expect him to suddenly play every game in a long hard season, is not very rational.
My one concern I have from today is to how badly Martin is injured. We would have expected 3 points today, but with a completely make shift back four and a goal down, in the end it was a point earned and so now it is on to Crewe, where once again we should fancy our chances.
We SHOULD fancy our chances through Wingy. Forget the past, we now have a good manager and we are 4th in the table and out of 24 matches we have lost just 4 times.Perhaps not.
Crewe are a bit of a Bogey side who we always find it tough against.
I will be there though.
I fancy our chances against anyone at the moment.
No, but 1 defeat in 15. Why wouldn't we fancy our chances on the back of that?Really? We've won 1 out of the last 6. Not promotion form
Really? We've won 1 out of the last 6. Not promotion form
If we are not ready this season, we certainly won't be next season because next season we won't have Armstrong, Murphy, Kent or Maddison.I'm not sure we are ready this season.
