Frustrating, again.

Chesterfield need the win, so they'll win any way they can. We have the class to turn this around; if we attack with purpose and en masse, it'll scare the life out of them a la Gillingham.

C'mon City, fackin' do it.

IMO Mowbray has got this one massively wrong, dropping Murphy and Armstrong against one of the most immobile teams you will see at this level, changes needed and quick these are a very poor outfit and can still win here.

Oh right, let's dispense with centre backs from corners and crosses.

Huh? Players have a man to mark at set pieces. It may have been ricketts or stokes who was meant to mark him, but that's not a CB situation, that's just general bad marking. I think Mowbray knows we're very light in the CB area, but what can he do about that at the moment? What needs to happen is we need to be able to defend set pieces better... That goes for every single player.

Fault lies squarely with tm this one.wrong team like first 70 min against pv. Fortune needs to go hes to slow, breaks our attacks pace down and we are playing the long ball to suit him. Arma and murphy need to come on and revert to our pace and passing game

Because a team never has a dip in form through the season. And in that time we've only lost 1 as well.

Yep. But it does seem as though we're not allowed to even mention the dip in form.

Really is frustrating how different a team we are from the one earlier in the season. Creating very little, conceding poor goals, looking frightened of opposition.

Really need to kick off quickly this second half and get atleast a goal, preferably 2 (my fault for betting on the City I guess, but 2-1 would be decent)

Don't think Fortunè understands the concept of pass and move. Impossible for Kent, JOB and JM to link up with someone who stands still.

It isn't tactical, its Mowbray rotating his front players to keep them fresh. Kent, JOB and Maddison were nailed on to play today as they didn't start on Saturday, the only question was if Armstrong would play or if Mowbray decided he also needed a rest also with 2 games in 3 days.

Sorry I meant Fortune over Tudgay must be tactical. Agreed it seemed the plan was to rest the 4 from the start.

Exactly, he's doesn't seem to have a very good understanding of tactics etc. This is where Tudgay would have allowed the play to flow, he's more adept full-stop.

TM really needs to wake up and drop MAF. He's a clumsy player who offers next to nothing in this team, serving only to scupper the attack.

Not at all, but it does piss me off when people off the back of 3 or 4 matches.make out the wheels have fallen off or throw away like comments like no chance of promotion or will lucky to make play offs off from here on.

Not meaning you but a lot of people on here do it.

If we have a bad spell of 7-10 games then people can start saying our promotion push is starting to derail but seems silly to say it on the back of a couple of matches.

Resting players won't show in the first half. It is the last 20 minutes where we will have the big advantage.

Maddison wins a free kick close to the box, their no.5 confront Maddison for no reason, Stokes comes to Maddison's defence, ref calls both linesman onto the field to talk, ends up booking Maddison and their 5. Bizarre decision to book Maddison. If anyone was to be done for desent it probably should have been Stokes for getting involved.

Anyway, free kick hits the wall
