I think it will be less than that but complete guesswork on my part, 60-70 maybe? Which wouldnt be enough for me to want to do it to be fair, sounds like it would take a huge time commitment.

I am aware that people completely refuse to give him any credit for this rise. But seriously, you'd have to have been living on the fucking moon to not see the improvements to the commercial side of the business over the last 6 years. I agree, with the level of accountability, the fact that the hours will be extremely irregular and notwithstanding the fact that the successful candidate will be in the public eye and not least open to extreme scrutiny by the experts on here! Anything around the 60k mark might put talented executives off as there is a better work life balance with better remuneration to be made in other roles.

The shirts in question are small prerhaps ordered on the first day maybe as a birthday present by people who can afford them.Try telling a child they cannot have 1 of their present( has not come yet). The "grown men" are mostly young lads who want to impress their mates It's a shame they cannot be bought elsewhere then the club would start lose the revenue.

I agree with that looking at the scope and responsibility of the role. People seem convinced it will be in the 60-70k bracket which seems ludicrous.

A brief look online seems to put the position in the 80+ per year bracket, some more like 150k too. My assumption earlier looks way off the mark and probably stems from the club being run on a shoestring for so long (on and off the field)
