Lol, that is what we said the first time
And it failed, the numbers who went were far less than they anticipated, so reluctantly they came back.
You think they care? No doubt in my mind they would rather leave the Ricoh again than drop the legal battleAnd it failed, the numbers who went were far less than they anticipated, so reluctantly they came back.
If they took us to Northampton again, the numbers would be even lower, especially if we are playing our football in D4

I'd say with that job advert it's very believable.I heard this the other day.
Will have to wait and see if it is
Didn't want to post it on here due to the usual abuse when you start a rumour post.
Even at the Ricoh they are still losing millions a year, makes no difference to them. The care about money, it was unsustainable in Northampton.
Money is the only thing that speaks to them, basically they've been cornered.
I've given this a likeAll the preempting of thread direction is one of the major reasons why this site is going downhill.
The crap that gets thrown around. All the "I'm sure ccc will be blamed somehow" or "I'm sure the Sisu defenders will be here soon".
Sometimes it's hard to believe some of you are grown men.

No great loss. Would explain that job advert as well that was doing most of his job.
I could have done his job, I chat shit and get called a sisu puppet on here every day for free anyway

I like the way that everyone assumes that Northampton would let us back. Cardoza isn't there anymore and I think after the trouble they had last season the fans and supporters trust tasted some of the type of medicine we've been spoon fed and will probably be more sympathetic to us next time and instead of saying thanks for the rent it's not our problem, they'll get behind our trust and fight it. I would hope so anyway after the support we gave them. I don't think Northampton will be an option again.

FWIW I agree Northampton won't be an option. Not for those reasons however. The narrative now is a lot easier to spin that we have little option, and some club would help us out. Remember we even had a chat with Hinckley Fucking United before.
I don't even think moving away will be an option either however... but that'll only be if there's no play to be had by doing so.
The greater concern would be what the next play will be...
I'm sure Wasps would end up giving them the same deal as they currently have on a year by year basis.
What Wasps won't do is negotiate a 20-25 year deal, with greater access to match day revenues while there is 'background legal noise' .
People are using Northampton as a euphemism for moving in a general sense Tony.
Well that's bollocks because CCFC wanted a 2 year extension and were told to piss off
I'm sure it was either rumoured or said that we retained an option/clause to be able to return
So where will we move then? IIRC last time club's were lining themselves up to distance themselves from us not to welcome us with open arms. My recollection was it was Northampton or the Ricoh.
Well they've got a year to figure it out and as long as that 35 mile restriction is lifted im sure options are available.

I'm not and say options were there around 50-60 miles away so what? Who would go? How would the club survive? It can't. Simple as that
They negotiation were for a 20-25 year deal.
Show me where Wasps told CCFC to piss off on a 2 year extension & I'll believe you

Only Walsall actively distanced themselves.
There are also options such as here:
I'd prefer to hope we don't get to test it, rather than confidently assuming it won't happen again...

Yep, it will be next to Manor House Care Home Ramblers Association announce they made £37.50 at their tea dance.Don't worry Les will have an exclusive when the observer comes out later in the week I'm sure
Out of interest what ground is that in the picture?
Where is that NW?
telegraph recently
After ending negotiations, Wasps cited the “distraction” of legal action by the CCFC owners Sisu over the Ricoh Arena as the rugby and football club looked to agree a 20-year deal which would give the Sky Blues increased access to crucial matchday and non-matchday income.
When they moved back they signed a two year deal with a two year extension WERE IN BLOODY THE TWO YEAR EXTENSION
Well if it's the Belgrade it is Night Must Fall by Emlyn Williams. Not sure on ticket prices.FWIW I agree Northampton won't be an option. Not for those reasons however.
