Does nobody get the impression that London Wasps want the legals dropped because they fear something? If not why would they give a shit.

They couldn't give a shit - it's a PR statement that automatically resonates with the masses.

I'm sure Wasps would end up giving them the same deal as they currently have on a year by year basis.
What Wasps won't do is negotiate a 20-25 year deal, with greater access to match day revenues while there is 'background legal noise' .

Why would Wasps give CCFC something that they got for basically fuck all. The legal noise is an excuse to not negotiate.

Anyone that thinks Wasps are going to give us revenue access need to lay off the glue sniffing.

Oh dear you seem a tad confused old boy. That's a CET article and it's generally relating to a quote from some chap from wasps.

We can go one by one through the many wasps "interpretation" of events and future happenings if you want - shall we?

Or better still why don't you e mail the fellow and ask him the proposed 20 year deal and the outlines of the deal. In particular ask him what the rent would be in say year 3 of said arrangement?

Can you then post that on here?

Out of interest where are you getting that the club only wanted another 2 + 2 year deal story from?

Told you yesterday nobody picked up on it
Wonder if that's where it has actually been picked up from or if there are others who have inside information, if it turns out to be true of course.
I said TM liked CA but he wasn't getting backing from SISU
Do you think that TM is lying when he says the budget is not noticeably different to last year and that he couldn't complete deals with his targets as they went to championship clubs?
I'm not trying to scaremonger but I reckon this means more shit to follow.
That was my thought. Although he could just have realised its an impossible job and be fed up with constant abuse.

I had a pint with Anderson last year, not long after his appointment. I asked him how, as someone with no experience in running an organisation (he is an acaedmic) he was going to be able to run a club like CCFC. He didn't seemed frazed by the challenge. But now, on the basis of the Ops Director job vacancy that's being advertised, it would seem that the club have realised that they do indeed need someone with experience to run the club on a day to day basis; being a nice guy and nice guy and a stats geek isn't enough - just like on the pitch, we need and experienced leader to run the show.

You know exactly what is out there in the public domain. So I'm not going to give you anymore time.
Oh btw I'm ten times more likely to believe a quote from Wasps than I am from SISU or any of the pro-SISU shite that you come out with.

Can't see that happening either NW. Isn't it ran by the labour run Birmingham City Council? Surely a quick word in their ear from a neighbouring labour run city council would put an end to that?

The point being... there are lots of options, that aren't always the 'obvious'. How about Welford Road? Or maybe MMM could come to a deal to temporarily expand Webb Ellis Road? Maybe we could expand the difference slightly and sub Sixfields for SIxways?

If the will were there for our owners to move, they would. We've seen that, haven't we.

Only Walsall actively distanced themselves.

There are also options such as here:

I'd prefer to hope we don't get to test it, rather than confidently assuming it won't happen again...

At least it's got a grassy hill

Given that every time Nick Eastwood clicks his fingers - you spread your legs - that is hardly a surprise.

I think there is will if it's an easy option. Something as simple as going to B instead of A. When we get into having to do something time consuming and requiring investment, such as paying and erecting temporary stands, catering facilities and toilet facilities I can't see them being interest. We've also seen that with shops, programs and tickets. It's not just money they don't want to invest. It's time also.

Wasps won't give us greater access to revenues anyway. Whatever they give with one hand will be taken away with the other in any new deal.

Wasps will want to tie us down as long as possible because it will help with gaining a stadium sponsor, short term deals are no good for them. In fact Steve B from the trust posted on here they wasps wanted a long term deal and we only wanted another 2+2, and suggested that was the reason talks broke down.

There won't be as many travelling next time.

They'll just need to find a place that embraces the possibility of league football, get the locals to turn up in droves with the offer of free tickets and flags.

I heard from a source but then someone else said it on here....

Indeed and I'd already been told the proposal and the clubs stance from a source and that source said 2 and 2 was the clubs stance.

I heard this the other day.
Will have to wait and see if it is
Didn't want to post it on here due to the usual abuse when you start a rumour post.

To be fair, most people tend to take on board the inside info you hear, as generally their is substance to it. I think its those that say a mate told them down the pub so it must be true that usually get the stick.

The Sky Blue Trust are shit don't forget or have you changed your mind ?

So do you think Steve was lying when he heard the same as my "tripe" Italia?

The interesting thing is you spout a lot of bullshit and pass it of as fact

When some suggestion that your beloved Wasps are implicated in being less than honest you literally start to shit yourself. Why?

Anyway here is a question - have you met Mr Eastwood, Mr Armstrong and the Finance Director (whose name I have forgotten) - have you engaged in conversation Italia?

Don't think you lot can see the wood for the trees. SISU arnt contemplating being here after the legal are over ( even though they are prepared to sit it out ) . To commit to a contract at the Ricoh would handicap an incoming buyer and limit the potential . No new ground just noise . No ground move cus of damage to brand image , which is all we have left. Joy is looking for a way out without hurting her reputation any more . Next twelve months will be interesting
