Too easy to say that. We don't know if maybe Carr has given them different tactical instructions or not.

And also if it is true you would need to know why. Have there been fallings out etc

Happens at all clubs I assume
Well yeh if the players weren't trying for the manager then you've got a real problem haven't you and it's only ever got one outcome.

To sum up, Wilder basically said;

1. Sending off was 100% Anel's fault...
2. But the Cov forward wasn't being very nice...
3. But it was Anel's fault...
4. But the Cov forward was unsportsmanlike...
5. But don't get me wrong it was Anel's fault...
6. But none of my players would do what the Cov forward did...
Match footage shows Sheffield United players repeatedly feigning injury in the same match, but sure just make shit up.

‘I know what I’m gonna get from my players’
Thinly veiled criticism of Sky Blues, goes on to say:
‘If they’d shown the same commitment Robins would still be manager’……’these are a top 4 or 5 squad, no question….and they had a right good go….. maybe cos they knew the new man is watching.’

I don’t really see the issue with what he’s said tbh. Balanced and complimentary about the Club and “a Mark Robins fan” pre and post match. What did he say about our players underperforming, for the very person that gave them the opportunity to play at this level, isn’t true? It’s been said enough by our own this season?

Without rose tinted specs on, what did he say about Bassette’s shithousing that was out of order? did he dive on two occasions to try and get a penalty? Arguably yes he did, did he know what he was doing with his elbow as he fell on Ahmedhodžić? Certainly looked like he did, did he leave his foot to clip Ahmedhodžic as he stepped over him whilst on the ground? Yes he did, did he embarrassingly roll around clutching his face when he had clearly been grabbed around the neck? Yes he did, did he smile and wink after deliberately getting a fellow pro sent off? Again, yes he did. Ronaldo doing the same to Rooney after getting him sent off at the 2006 World Cup anyone? odious behaviour. He also quite literally, said that he had no complaints about the sending off.

Chris Wilder is Marmite, he’s a lifelong fan of the club he manages, he wears his heart on his sleeve and says it as he sees it. Personally I like that in a manager and would like someone who’s as passionate about our club to manage it, if only we did, oh hang on a minute!

As for the shithousing displayed by Bassette yesterday, 20 years old or not, that isn’t what I want to see from any player wearing the Sky Blue, embarrassing. Let’s be honest and agree, just for a minute, with an opposition manager calling it out for what it is. If we had been on the receiving end of behaviour like that can you imagine what the outpouring of anger, quite rightly, would have been on here?

... and one of their players throwing an elbow as the melee happened. But, of course Wilder's players would do that. Why would we let the truth get in the way of a good story?!
