Spoke to Cyrus relation yesterday the fee I believe was about £500k eventually, At first it was a bout 350 + a player but Pressley didn't want the player mentioned so Derby upped the anti. There was an offer from Stoke City and another championship club and a concrete offer from LA Galaxy and Vancouver but CC decided working with Steve MaClaren was to good an opportunity to miss. He said this is the first opportunity etc since turned pro at 17 to work in a stable club and not have the constsnt turmoil he has had here

Playing football for a living and getting a couple of grand a week? Hardly constant turmoil.
Does annoy me when players whinge about how tough things are for them. Still good luck to him, we can all move on and 500k is a fantastic price for him I think.
