Starts this weekend for me. Been doing Dutch Sinterklaas this week in honour of the missus, when that’s over Christmas starts.

Off to get a tree Saturday morning. Then a day of decorating baking and Christmas movies to get in the mood.

Got to make the most cos I only get the kids half the time so after this weekend next one is the one before Christmas!

Easter would be both confusing and disturbing. Nailing a little baby to a cross would cross a line IMO and I'm not even religious!.

Think what's it's like for those on here who hate unions and lefties.
Forced to have time off with pay due the endeavours of the afore mentioned.
Must be tough for them.

Same for the atheists like myself, having to sit at home Sri king and stuffing my face thanks to a Christian festival!

My Christmas starts late next Thursday night. I am joining the wife and kids for nearly a month in France. Will be my first ever Christmas and new year out of the UK.

Might even get snow. It doesn't snow where I live although I can normally see plenty of it on the mountains in the lakes. Getting all excited now

Always a struggle to know what to buy my daughters (in their twenties).
They have never liked the clothes I've bought them.
I ususlly get them a gift certificate, but it seems somewhat lame.

Struggling to enter the Xmas spirit working on everyday until Xmas day and then back in on Boxing Day also been told to work longer hours, no glory being one of Santa’s little parcel elves

But I bet your office parties are debaucherous.

It’s like the last days of Rome everyday, but we don’t have parties no time for such fun just got to keep moving those parcels to keep the shareholders rich

I now have a picture in my mind of everyone in togas shuffling parcels about.

We have a guy who on the last day comes in wearing fancy dress he has come in dresses as a Santa an elf and even a cracker plus others I am told.

When you say clothes, do you mean City shirts with Ponticelli on the back? No wonder they are fucking sick of them.

On nightshifts at the moment and have watched a Christmas special each morning before I go to bed

so far I’ve watched
The Christmas chronicles
Blackadders Christmas carol
It’s always sunny in Philadelphia
And knowing me knowing Yule
I’ve got the father Ted one to watch this morning
