This guy is clearly either;

a. A chancer who craves attention and spends his evenings furiously beating himself off to threads like this.
b. Mentally ill.
c. All of the above.

Given that, would the best way to stop this bullshit be to simply ignore him and not post threads about his latest claims? Just like this...

There was a kid in my class who had celebs at his birthday parties, the best bikes, the best football sticker collection, the best pogs etc.

He was never allowed to take them out of the house, so nobody saw them ever

'B' I think unfortunately.

Think this is why he is talking about all the 'abuse' he is getting. In his fantasy mind he believes what he is saying.

I wish this was true, but I have my doubts.

Just a doubt?

My doubt is that big you could drive two buses, two trucks, a tank and park HMS Victory in it.

That said there also people out there who genuinely believe this is close, I’m not sure it’s all through naivety and belief of Dale Evans, there has to be more.

For me, it seems so obvious that the guy is a non-serious joker/charlatan.

The weird this is that @Adetuono confirmed he does have a 'wealth manager', the former chairman of Barclaycard (who ought to know about people's credit) says he has got sufficient money to be a credible consortium member, and he has clearly done enough to convince Joe Elliot that he is worth engaging. Now, each of those things on their own can be dismissed pretty quickly, but all three together changes things a bit. Something is odd about this whole business; there must be at least something which we don't know that would explain things. Right now all the pieces don't seem to fit together.

Exactly Oucho, you have several pieces to a Jigsaw, but none of the pieces appear to fit..

I will believe things when the ink has dried not before.

Even if he does have the money I would rather have SISU as owners.

Can you elaborate on why you’d want SISU as owners, taking into account;

- The Club was moved temporarily to Northampton.
- Administration
- Countless court cases
- Detiroiraring relationships with the Council, Wasps, local charities, etc.
- Underhanded tactics.
- Transfer embargoes.

Is Dale Evans perfect? Probably not, but in my view perfect doesn’t exist.

He didn't say he wanted SISU as owners or that they were perfect, he just said they're preferable to DE. IMO even if DE does have enough cash to buy the club, it seems like he'd be spending most of his dosh on the acquisition with not much left over to invest in the team/club; as soon as we ran up our usual annual losses he would struggle to plug the gap and we'd be lurching towards another insolvency crisis. DE comes across like he'd be less competent at running the club than SISU which is saying quite a lot. That's my take on it.

he does have a 'wealth manager'

The scare quotes are important...

Bearing in mind NatWest invited me in a few years back to help advise me how to better invest the 28p I had in my account...

Like I said, there are a lot of reasons there that no one wouldn’t want SISU in charge.

Nobody said anyone person or Party is perfect, purely my observation.

My personal opinion is that it’s time for SISU to go, all of the things that have happened and undoable now, let someone else come in now and have a go at trying to take us back on the up.

Is Dale Evans a man who can make good of it, that’s yet to be judged, but he can’t do any worse than SISU.

Yet to be judged? I'd safely say he isn't the man regardless of sisu.

A bloke in charge who thinks he got hoaxed by a prankster into thinking he had taken us over.

Have you started early on the beer?

In the spirit of Christmas, I think we should give Mr. Evans plenty of privacy over the holiday period, allow him to spend time with his family, and ignore any random statements he makes...

But probably easier to get rid of and replace.

He could do a lot worse. It’s likely the club would fold in a month.

Not yet on the beer, although that’ll change in the next few hours.

Whether he is the man or not is up for debate, can you judge him now? Most will, based on what the last few months of posturing? Can he do worse than SISU, in my opinion no, but that’s solely my opinion.

Of course we can judge him now. He could do a lot worse also.

While I appreciate you’re being skeptical Grendel, there maybe a chance in the future that we find out if your statement is accurate.

Like I said to Grendel, maybe we will find out sooner rather than later.

And maybe somebody will give me a lamborghini, mansion and private jet today. We will see.

If you get a Lamborghini get a modern one, definitely more practical than a classic one.

No I've already got a classic one, that's on my aircraft carrier next to my private island that I won playing snap.

Can't actually believe you are falling for it in fairness.

Falling for it? No - I’ve already said above none of it makes sense (see my post referring to jigsaw pieces).

The reason I have intensified my argument on this topic is because one poster suggested SISU would be better owners - which I find baffling given where we are now.

It's not that baffling when you take into account him apparently being hoaxed into thinking he had bought ccfc.

Id rather it not be anybody but sisu and we get somebody in who really will turn us around. I'd rather wasps than him.

Wasps rather than Dale Evans? Wasps have never been interested in buying us, that’s a fantasy.

That’s it? Being hoaxed is all you’re going on?

No, that's a tiny example but a funny one. Have you missed everything so far? What out of all of it inspires you with him as owner?

Ironic really you say about fantasies when on about something as opposed to him.
