One person I’m sure has the link but no answers yet submitted which is good as I want to do the tie breaker

Closing this tonight will be done form of tie break as I can’t share a book so midnight it shuts down

OK so we have a tie with 2 people

@Brighton Sky Blue and @steve cooper

I am hopeless at proof reading but looks right to me

Well done - neither got the link or the CF2 extra player it seems

Later on today I will provide the answer to the CF2 player so hopefully then one of you can work the link

Well done both. I was convinced I had all of them with the exception of possibly the same two answers, so I'll be interested to see where I went wrong.

I'm the same and I still think my link fits (almost?) so I want to see what the actual link is. I also had no idea on cf2 and the only connect link so having that explained would be nice.

CF 2 Tie Break Question

So for @steve cooper and @Brighton Sky Blue

Seem to have been online today. So can you answer the link to the question - in fairness I will give both to the end of the day as the prize I think is decent especially being signed.

If both get this correct I will have one more tie break (an attempt to get the link but no one is close in truth) and that will be first come wins that regardless

If that fails a picture clue of another player (not too hard) and again first answer wins

So CF2 you both somehow were correct with Ian Wallace even though not the connect clue

Now the first picture was of Nicola Sturgeon and Jannette Tough. Its worth noting neither were born in Glasgow (as Wallace was) so it was just Scotland

We then had Dave Phillips and Fabio Tavares

The next picture would have been a picture of the other player to connect to Ian Wallace and that player has to be Vladimir Ghadzev

If the clue was reversed and Ghadzev was the first connect clue and Phillips last there could have been many answers fit the link that connects to Ian Wallace

Think about it

Are there others out there who still don't understand it even now that we have the answer?! :(

I went for small (krankie and sturgeon) Welsh (Phillips) and came up with Craig Bellamy :)
I also feel like the world's biggest racist, since I only glanced at the photo on my phone and had Fabio down as Jordy Hiwula and even made that fit Bellamy with the Jordy (Geordie) connection to his time at Newcastle!!!

Yes, not a clue. I went for Quinton Young as he was born close to both of the krankies in the clue even though he wasn't a striker. No idea how Gazdhev would get me to Wallace & my link has been blown out of the water!!

I went for David Speedie, David (Phillips) and Fabio who is very speedy. Then the ginger hair of all 3 led me to Wallace.

A bit of research and the answer isn’t that hard

Both got the connect link

SUB 2

I am giving the answer to sub 2

It is DAVE BAMBER

I want the link established by someone if possible to all the players. So first to answer wins between the two of you.

MUSIC CLUE TO LINK: Tenpole Tudor meets a Walt Disney character and it it ends very badly indeed for the Walt Disney character

(I said to someone I am going to get Tenpole Tudor in a clue and they did not believe me)

Well this has indeed proven as long as a Doug King Takeover

TIE BREAK

Just need from one of the two winners the name of the player

Was not a hit for us at all playing just over 30 games in the 70's and played most of his time in the East Midlands making over 500 appearances in his career - was a defender most for the club the picture represents

I helped on a milk round whilst at school & used to deliver his milk at weekends & collect the money every Friday when he lived in Dunchurch.
