So Cranie makes the Prem - was'nt a blinder of a game as some but pens is a lottery - happy for Hudderfield as its the first time - like to see Armstrong playing for the Toon army - Blackpool Exeter was more exciting for me !
Must admit that I was taken aback by hearing Huddersfield's record transfer fee still under £2M !! That will change soon, methinks!Another team showing what can be done with simple good management.
No no no, all teams need to "invest" millions and millions to have any successAnother team showing what can be done with simple good management.
since 2001 ourselves and Huddersfield have been relegated and promoted in the same seasons.....
I wouldn't use Leicester as an example of sticking it to prima donnas considering how they spent most of this season in a strop that Ranieri wouldn't let them have chicken burgers.
Congratulations to mark robins win set the foundations for this success

Class player Wilson didn't he get sacked after only one or two games that season?Isn't the Huddersfield side mostly different now to the one Robins had?
Think only remaining players are Hogg and Wells from Robins era? Last game as manager was 4-0 home defeat to Bournemouth where Callum Wilson scored a brace on his debut.
Don't know about chicken burgers but they didn't spend time rolling round the floor like Moses did Saturday teamwork won it them.
Not quite-but a little now and again doesn't go a miss!No no no, all teams need to "invest" millions and millions to have any success
Highly likely, but then again they might hold on against the odds for 34 years.Hope this trend reverses when Huddersfield* get relegated next year and we get promoted.
(*Nothing against Huddersfield but I think they will struggle)
I think Blackburn have moved leagues since 2001 everytime we have aswellHope this trend reverses when Huddersfield* get relegated next year and we get promoted.

Hoyle is the perfect owner. He's spent over £40 million of his own money and has gradually led the club to where they now are.
Loyal fans next season get a season ticket for £100.
It's a model of business most clubs can only dream of. It's well deserved
I read somewhere that Huddersfield had the fifth lowest budget in Championship last season. So hopefully this will help put to bed all the budget bullocks spouted by some.
I heard Rotherham had a bigger budget this year.
A budget is a myth as such. Sure it helps but it's down to the managers recruitment and team ethics. The players wanting it for each other and being up to the job

We will see how that works in the premiership as teams like Man City are going crazy
That's the place you do need a budget and a sizeable one at that too!
Next year whipping boys unfortunately.

Listening to the radio today and somebody said that Brighton aren't planning to invest in many new players they will be the whipping boys, the bottom three will contain Brighton and Huddersfield and if they don't spend Burnley.
Really now I thought they may invest a little to survive, at a guess they may try and get the pick of championship players so if they do unfortunately go down they are in a good position to have a go at bouncing back. A yoyo club if you like.
Undoubtedly both clubs will pick up points with spirited performances but will be a tough campaign, Huddersfield need to tighten up defensively massively and add more goals and can Glenn Murray provide the goals to carry Brighton in the premier league?
Such a huge jump now in leagues
