The marketing team should be onto previous season ticket holders in recent seasons but obviously they haven't got a clue. What do they actually get paid for?

We've only sold 1,200 so far. That is absolutely dreadful. Port Vale have sold 2,500. I just don't think we have the support anymore, sadly.

We have the support, but have lost the trust of fans. A fair few deserted us when we went to Northampton and never returned, then it became turgid under SP. It's going to take time.

The support is there but we need to generate some positivity around the place and hopefully Tony Mombray can bring that and some better times ahead too.

You must have had one of mine then, cos I have had all but none and I have had a season ticket for years, apart from at Sixfields. Since we went to Sixfields my emails stopped, even though I renewed as soon as we came back to the Ricoh.

Not had hardly any emails at all since we returned. Maybe 2 emails all season and nowt about this next season or renewing.

Nope a stupid analogy - I can see why you like it. In an interview once Gary Pendrey admitted to reading only 2 books in his adult life - a couple of westerns - your intellectual plane is well suited to your choice of idol.

So do JPT attendees only go on JPT games then?

They do seem to be a bit hit and miss with the emails. I've never been a season ticket holder, I bought a few tickets online last season but I was mainly walk-ups and I get bombarded with emails from the club. To the point where if I got them from anyone else I would have added them to my junk mail list by now.

But, let's be honest, an email from someone at the club pretending to write as Tony Mowbray isn't going to sell season tickets, is it? I go to uni in Leicester and you should see the Leicester City marketing. There's people outside uni every single day giving leaflets out and engaging with the more casual supporter. In fact, I went to Pizza Hut last week and on the menu there was Leicester City advertising their STs. How much would all of this cost? Not a lot, just takes a bit of a common sense about how to market.

Season ticket holder for 20 years, i've had nothing ever since surprise surprise I mailed them and told them in no uncertain terms I wasn't going to Sixfields. The club is run by fucking arseholes from top to bottom !

You would have thought the fans they lost at Sixfields would be on the priority list for contact purposes the moment we came back to Coventry.

Surely the very fans they would want to entice back and email.

I have a couple from them and then after I renewed they sent me one about executive boxes.

i hope the next email I get from them says that Waggott or Fisher or hopefully both have finally gone.

Have you contacted the club about it? I had a similar problem, and it turned out I hadn't ticket the box to let them contact me by e-mail.

But it can't be that, cause I do get some emails. Rare, but they do come. Can't see how that can be down to unticked boxes.

Recently I've had 3 about the crewe game, 2 Tony Mowbray messages, one sky blues in the community coaching courses e-mail and one offering an executive box for 8.6k a season, none about season tickets, nothing about how prices have been cut for next season, the Tony Mowbray message when he signed does have a link to buy a season ticket in it and he talks about hoping people buy them but I can't believe that is all they are sending out about season tickets, so it seems their e-mail system or lists are broken or they are just doing a very poor job of sending e-mails that matter.

The only thing I have had from Tony Mowbray is a letter through the post.
