Well, to suit the mood after that particularly depressing weekend, here is today's shirts - which players do you associate them with?

1) 2000- 2001 home

2) 2001-2002 home

The first person to come into my head was Hadji as well...

The second shirts is slightly more difficult... Hartson?

Top one was our relegation kit so unfortunately Harston already gone. When Hughes scored at Stockport I didn't think we'd miss him :(

John Hartson

Second one Lee Carsley, although he might have actually left before we wore it?

Still remember him getting sent off away at blackpool

Fucking hell it was freezing that weekend. Got absolutely mullered on the Friday night, ended up in some crap club, Flares or something.

Back into Yates for 11 on the Saturday, great afternoon, then the football started, 10 mins later we were 2 down and ten men. I remember this absolute idiot in the Cov end, probably just up there for the weekend and not a city fa, giving it loads to everyone and singing Liverpool songs.

The game was enough to drive me back to drink so it was straight on the shots in Yates at 5pm, and finally staggered back home around 4am after Syndicate had closed. Sunday was not pleasant....

To me that's one of the positives of going down, some decent away trips next year

the top one reminded me of Cedric Roussel and the bottom Runar Normann (can only remember that the whole season was a let down)

Definitely Hartson for the first and Thompson for the second. Some of the goals that man scored in that season were outrageous!

No he did play for us in it until about half way through the season. He was a huge loss and more of an impact than Jim Smith coming in.
Cheers. The time between 2001 and about 2006 all seem to fade into the same haze when I try to remember back, like I was still in relegation shock.
