Gyokeres has such great close control for such a big guy. Middlesbrough commentators summed him up perfectly, he's quicker with the ball than without it.

Unfortunately the guilty party for setting up their counter attack in my view, at his best taking fewer touches rather than more

Decent half, we look good going forward but overplaying at times. Defensively we do look a bit vulnerable.

Shipley off please, he really hasn't contributed enough.

Still trying fancy stuff around the box - playing to a man with his back to the box and two defenders facing forward is just throwing the ball away - so happy with the goal

I can’t see any logic in signing Allen on a contract and then playing Shipley in his role

We shouldn’t be out of sight.

Bkackpool are a reasonably fluid team. We dictate possession but hardly threaten and rely on a lot of long range stuff

Without Gyokeres whose just an unbelievable talent and menace we’d be staring down the trapdoor - he Hamer and o Hare are miles ahead of the rest and he in particular can’t be sold
Thought you didnt particularly rate Hamer? Odd considering Sheaf is our best player.

Squandering glorious positions time and again, they're only threatening when the ball's gifted away. The goal conceded again soft as they all seem to be.

The owners not giving the remotest shit about our league performance means we're left with precious little cutting edge behind the strikers

Should be winning by at least a couple.

Good performance bar one defensive lapse.
Just poor to not get out to the player so the foul was still possible. Gave him so much time to attack him. Hyam completely at fault for me and their player did well to set it up

That being our downfall. Great build up play, then doing nothing in the final 3rd/their box.

Need to have more confidence in front of goal, particularly our midfielders.

Nonsense

Playing well and we look to create every time we attack. Lack of end product is still a frustrating theme, but that will change.

We absolutely deserve and will win this.

Your being a little bi polar. Gyokeres is a special talent but sheaf should absolutely be included in your little list and Moore

Moore is replaceable - goalkeepers are o even agree with Mowbray on that to an extent - and sheaf is obviously very good but not a driving force as far as goals - my point is if you have to slap no sale on players they are the three

Gyokeres definitely back to his confident ways.

I’m the biggest fan of Sheaf but he’s a bit quiet today.

For all hisfaults Shipley’s movement between the lines is actually pretty good.
