Pick them off on the counter?So maybe it was the game plan to stifle there attacking threat and then pick them off on the counter when the opportunity presented itself, in that respect the game plan worked perfectly and Venus gets a 10.
Would accept that if we had counter attacked and looked constantly dangerous, but we hardly got out of our own half all game.
Nearly everyone is saying we played poorly today. Should we commend the manager for our playing so badly?
He was lucky that his inability to change things didn't cost us. That's my humble opinion. We clearly needed a change, especially in midfield, where we were being overrun and the obvious choice was Rose.
We were hanging on. Luckily Rochdale couldn't hit a barn door today.
