Not kicked a ball for QPR since the opening day of the season, hamstring injury

Did we dodge a bullet?

Looks like it, would have liked him back but not at all cost.

I imagine he will miss a lot of games as his body isn’t used to playing at a high level every week.

As a player he was alright, pretty average. His injury record atrocious. Yet as he was left footed it seemed to blind people.

It was pretty obvious this was going to happen.

Panzo is a definite upgrade if you ask me

despite everyone crying about losing out in JCS and having no ambition and signing kids that is

JCS is a good player would have been happy had we kept him but he does miss games he’s been replaced we move on.

tbf Panzo's had one excellent game and one distinctly mediocre game for him so far. Jury's out, will depend which way his consistency swings.

Yes probably...
And Panzo looks the business anyway.

If we’re honest though a lot of JCS’ games were mediocre too - he just looked good because we were used to Hyam/Rose covering there and looking entirely uncomfortable.

He was a solid LCB and I’ve have been happy to keep him, but he wasn’t anything special and really didn’t offer too much else.

Early days but looks like Panzo can offer more offensively both in terms of how comfortable he is on the ball and his aerial ability. He’s a step forward for us.

Obviously being a defender comes first, but I’m confident Millwall was the exception and Sunderland the norm.

We also dodged a bullet with Matty James who has had countless injuries at Bristol City since signing last summer. From all accounts though we tried hard to get both, which in itself is worrying too. I am sure we would of all been happy with JCS signing this summer, but if he was then out for weeks, it would be back to Dom Hyam at left Centre Half.
