Rob Gurney
“
I don't like saying "I told you so" about anything, but in Jack Rudoni's case, I'll make an exception – "I told you so!"
Regular consumers of our content on BBC CWR will know I was advocating signing him long before the Sky Blues got the then 22-year-old to put pen to paper last June.”
what a load of self gratifying dribble
guy does my head in
it’s rob gurney so yeh go clive sureHe's only doing on the radio what people do on here day in and day out - Go Clive!!
I miss Garth Crooks. Watching hom going down a punditry cul-de-sac was hilarious and a work of art in itself. Made Murphy, Shearer and Keown look competent! Not since Garth Crooks on Match of the Day anyway
The Alistair Mcgowan sketch was brilliant of him. I cant find it anywhere online unfortunatelyI miss Garth Crooks. Watching hom going down a punditry cul-de-sac was hilarious and a work of art in itself. Made Murphy, Shearer and Keown look competent!

Didn't try very hard - it's on one of the first videos I looked for (around the 7:30 mark)

Not Keown.
In a world overflowing with vapidity, he still stands out as vapid.
I think it's the Villa connectionKeown annoys the hell out of me - so gormless plus there's something odd/creepy about him - gives me serial killer vibes
And he should of invested in a hair transplant by now. It's obviously a concern of his. No offence BaldyKeown annoys the hell out of me - so gormless plus there's something odd/creepy about him - gives me serial killer vibes
I think someone needs to tell Paterson and at the same time, ask him to return the keys to the city.
Boo doesn’t work

Don’t worry-some other lanyarder will get the gig in his place.I thought something like that would happen... either that or he would have spontaneously combusted!
At least Pato gives Lorna Bailey a life raft to cling onto... I'm guessing she won't be pally with the drummer any more... but then again, it is the BBC!
Oh yeah forgot they drafted him in for that Q and AI thought something like that would happen... either that or he would have spontaneously combusted!

Rob clearly loves Coventry City and he lets his heart rule his head at times which clearly isn’t professional but can be quite endearing as a City fan. Whether he is around next season who knows but you clearly don’t need Clive, Rob and Oggy all covering the match And Clive does the difficult bit which is the in match commentary, but that said this is the BBC so they will probably add another in !
Are they all freelance / part time? Surely it can't be a full time job?
Now imagining some of the most iconic goals with Clive getting the wrong goal scorerMilan
Pretty sure Clive does other stuff at CWR and Clive & Rob both do commentary for Warwickshire over the summer on the BBC website which is pretty much a full time gig for that part of the year. Are they all freelance / part time? Surely it can't be a full time job?
"There's some people on the pitch. They think it's all over... oh well, that IS a goal and now 4-2 against the East Germans, but I still make it there's 1 and a half mins left."Now imagining some of the most iconic goals with Clive getting the wrong goal scorer
GULLIT!! What ana mazing volley!!
Oh it was van Basten

I love CliveTo be fair to Clive, Murray Walker made a career out of doing that kind of thing, and he's rightly globally lauded as one of the greatest sports commentators of all time.
I can imagine Oggy was enthralled and is now in the bar at his golf club telling everyone all about itAt one point Gurney was explaining to Oggy the reference as its not a Cobb or a Roll
Only in Coventry its a batch - which is not even accurate
Milan was probably one of the players closest to the commentary box at the time as well
