Closer to Sixfields than the Ricoh (1 Viewer)

I'm sure I'm not alone (season ticket holder) in actually living closer to Northampton than Coventry.

Although I'm dead against the relocation but because the inconvenience factor doesn't exist for me... It'll be quite hard to not go to Sixfields and cheer on the players.

I know many people can't go and many people won't go...but who else is in my situation.

Easy to get there...just would prefer to be at the Ricoh.

Ampthill, don't go. You'd be going along with Sisu. I'm a long standing season ticket holder too. It bothers me that I won't be there, but enough is enough. Go and you'll be supporting Sisu.
I'm still hoping for 11th hour reprieve.

I live approx 5mins from Sixfields and supported CCFC for over 40 years. I will only be going to away games this season and fully support the 'Not one penny more' campaign.

Am I missing something? Is there a reason you can't stand on the hill and watch without paying? Your view will be shite but it'll be better than staying at home... right?

Go & support the team ampthill. Don't listen to the looneys. Just make your discontent know from the terraces!

I'm in the same boat as live near Northampton. After weighing up everything I've heard I think I'll go and watch them. Who is to blame for where we are?
I say SISU, ACL & CCC are equally guilty in this whole situation. All have made decisions that are not for the benefit of CCFC (as have previous owners) and I think it just depends on which decision in the long history of this sorry saga you take as a starting point that forms who you support(?). Its like kids in the playground, 'He started it'. I don't care who started it, they are all responsible.
SISU, ACL & CCC should all grow up, put their pride and egos to one side and sort things out like adults.

I'm in long buckby, 10 mins from sixfields! Ill be going to support MY sky blues. Strange how every person I speak to that says they'll go to sixfields was a regular at the the ricoh but all these boycotting have done so for years in or out of cov

Should be an easy decision. Just ask yourself if you support the killing of CCFC and act accordingly. Simple, really.

But it isn't simple really is it, or the thread wouldn't have started and other people wouldn't have replied? I feel uncomfortable at the thought of going, but have supported the City since 1966 when I went to my first game! I shall miss everything about it, including the social side as I live so far away from friends and family, and will hardly see them at all if we don't go to the game.

I still have a hope that it is a bad dream and we are at The Ricoh on August 10th!

The irony is that if that is the case there will be more people killing CCFC??

What absolute complete and utter bollocks.

As an out of area supporter i only know a handful of st holders. However, each of them have had st's for literally decades. NONE will set foot in Sixfields.

That about sums it up for me. Never lived in Cov so have always "travelled" to home games. Won't be going to Sixfields.

I live in West Hunsbury - walking distance to Sixfields. I have been a season ticket holder for the last few years. I have yet to make a decision yet on my plans. My heart tells me to boycott, but the weekend is not the same without football and I can't watch anyone else.
