I think the average wage is over £8 pound an hour for this work don't know about the council but even at £8 pound that is an extra £24 pound .This might not be much to mega rich you but when your on low wages it is a lot. The trouble is like I said you get what you pay for.

Can you provide some examples of that - this is a basic clerical job - in a Council it would definitely be minimum waqe

The council have never paid minimum wage they basic pay has always been the living wage which is higher.
look it up it is easy to find.
Anyway this is about a job at the City not the council and why would you care with your 100k job just for posting on here as you don't seem to do a lot else.
