Coventry City have been nominated for the Best Digital Content & Audience Growth Award at the 2014 Football League Awards.

The awards, which take place at the Brewery in London, on Sunday, March 16th, will reward players, clubs and fans in eight categories across the Football League's 72 clubs.

In total, 31 clubs have been nominated with the Sky Blues making the five-team shortlist for the Best Digital Content & Audience Growth Award.

Best digital content? it's almost unwatchable, kids in their bedroom make better quality youtube videos, no one at the club seems to have heard of hd.

Is this the football league feeling sorry for us? Has to be a wind-up surely? As has already been said, you can find higher quality content made by college leavers using Youtube for exposure.

Their digital content really seems to be quantity over quality. Anyone with any sort of media nous would be able to come up with better content ideas than those currently offered.

Can't believe this.

RFC you should demonstrate outside the FL HQ, you must be really pissed off that we didn't get listed for the Family club of the year award.

How outrageous that we got ignored for the Community club of the year, after all we have done for Northampton:eek::D:slap::sarcasm:

I like the YouTube channel they have to be fair. Hate the new website but it's a league standard. The previous one was much better.

Actually I have to take it back somewhat, the last time I checked out the content on youtube was in the summer and it was completely unacceptable, having just checked the recent stuff its for the most part much better.

Good for the website/digital team - They are not SISU you know, although that hardly matters to some of you on here.Easy to have a sly, harumphing dig at anything positive to come out of the club.

Audience growth though Andreas?? The Football League know damn well why the audience will have grown - and should take that into account.

What next, are they going to give us an award for 'most miles travelled' by those idiots going to ShitFields?

Maybe they could give us the most fans who can make up silly names and make themselves look about 12 award? :)

The digital team have been outstanding this season. Some might say they're more important than before. But everything from social media to YouTube and website content is better than I can ever remember.
