I'm sure I read Boddy saying Hummel have had manufacturing issues in Asia due to COVID.
Correct boddy was on cwr this morning saying hit by Covid and 80%down on same time last year, didn't mention membership shirts sept more likely Dec if there that behind on the official shirts. He also said phase 1 s/t out today.

True but they are harder workers then us for little reward.
So they should have knocked them out in a day we are talking 100s not 1000s.

Hahaha you can't be serious? No one can be that ignorant of the issues facing supply chains the world over...I can't believe you're serious here like. Vietnam is on it's arse mate.

Tbf both of last seasons kits ended up on m&m direct shortly after Christmas, I imagine due to not selling so well. So maybe the didn’t order loads so the same wouldn’t happen this season?

I’m sure it was said the club didn’t have any idea about that and were unhappy as M&M were undercutting them?

I let a mate have my car for a couple of days last week. He reversed into a concrete bollard.

Bloody CCFC. Sort it out. It was your fault.

So why can I buy a Everton, Middlesbough, Charlton and Bristol City Home and away kit all made buy Hummel?
Only Middlesbough menstion due to covid there maybe upto 14 days delay to disbatch due to covid.

I am not ignotant about covid issues just wonder why it is only us that is affected every season, covid or not.
Sorry but cant believe half that comes out of Boddys mouth. Barnsley tickets not on sale because we dont have them, his words, proved not to be true had them for weeks then all of a sudden they are on sale.
Just saying......
Easy to blame others just get someone in who knows what they are doing.

Amazon are on a different planet to Coventry City in terms of their planning models and resources, it’s a bizarre comparison to make. They measure stock metrics to 3 decimal places, it’s chalk and cheese.

For a club like us where demand will fluctuate and you risk losing valuable revenue with stockouts, what better guide to demand could you ask for than your order book? And what better way to avoid losing revenue?

don’t see any single practical reason why people shouldn’t be able to order now.

Clueless

Surely it's an issue out of the clubs hands?
Not like they would choose to not be able to sell shirts to fans
Yeah there’s issues with every supply chain due to mixture of Covid/brexit/Suez canal/driver shortage. Difficult to get most things atm

In that case they aren’t committing to enough stock, perhaps understandably given the financial situation

I would say although I understand shortages they should have some idea of delivery times and reflect this on the club website

Jokes aside - maybe we are just staffed on a shoestring hence the lack of people available to update websites, sort stuff like this more efficiently? All those other clubs mentioned there are probably financially backed far more than we are. Think even Charlton are passed their issues now.

the staffing levels are pathetic but they will be focussed on minimal stock storage - the clubs finances l suspect are far more fragile than people are letting on

Probably - with the club now at Championship level and demand higher than previous years would hope they expand the number of staff

I know everyone's on a high after a cracking result, but having a grumble about the fact you can't easily pick up a club shirt during the first week of the season seems pretty valid.
yes wanted one for my holiday and to wear watching the Forest game.
Oh well will make do with last seasons for the the rest of the season. wont bother unless I get one for Xmas.

Yes however the club needs to grow off the pitch too not just on, if we have the same level of staffing from League 2 and League 1 then it’s no wonder we’re struggling

Doubt it'll be increased any time soon. All about keeping costs down where they can aren't they? If it means the delay of shirts then I'd expect that they will allow that to happen as it saves money in the long run which can be invested into more pressing things like players/rent etc.

I've heard they have plenty of stock in the back of the shop but they are waiting for the ST holders to spend their vouchers on other things before they put them back in stock.

If anybody is after a size large home shirt, I’m about to return one to the club shop (ordered a medium and large as wasn’t sure which size I needed). Happy to send it to one of you guys instead at cost price (£47) plus p&p. Message me today otherwise I’ll send back to the club tomorrow.
Cheers

Spot on. Championship club now, big boy league. We need to invest and grow on and off the field accordingly.

I once visited Celtic Park, the shop there was unbelievable. It was a real eye opener of the brand that is Celtic Football Club and I remember thinking, God this is what i'd love us to be like. Huge shop, 7 days a week, the brand of my own football club. I know Celtic are a big team etc but it was a real eye opener for me.

Seriously? That is very tinpot if true, don’t bother giving the vouchers out if you’re going to exclude the item most would want.
