The problem as everis where's the incentive? Problem is now the 'where's the incentive' switches the other way. If the Ricoh's occupied for three years while a rival ground goes up, it stops them finding a long term future for themselves so... in those circumstances, why would you accept a deal with CCFC unless calling *their* bluff and assuming a ground will never happen?
Yes. You've bought a liability (simply continue making payments).
Trying to be the optimist.....
Perhaps they could take the view that if the club comes back on a short term deal, it gives the opportunity to rebuild relationships and perhaps try things without the "hardball" tactics?
Perhaps they could take the view that if the club comes back on a short term deal, it gives ACL a bit of breathing space to put together a Plan B for the Ricoh ready to swing into action when the club downsizes to its new stadium?
I'm looking for straws to clutch at here........
Fair dues. It could have been clearer if I'm honest.Sorry, understand your wording now.

Its a more attractive proposition than buying a 3rd Division club that owns a ground but is £100m in debt.
ACL need to be wound up. The cub could then be handed a long term lease with all revenues. Its the only way.
Would that involve the charity losing all the money it invested to save us?

They made a poor investment, it happens. And its not to save us, its because its not viable.
Back to one of the key questions here.
Is ACL viable without the football club in residence?

Let SISU continue to play hard ball whilst drowning in debt of their own makingThis really is a pathetic statement from sisu when you compare it to the council statement.
Council willing to talk to sisu and sisu saying no chance of a return! Lol

Unlikely and even if they limp along for a while what's the purpose? It employs a handful of people and most crucially the main asset itself is never used.
With the benefit of the re-mortgage, yes i believe they are viable.Back to one of the key questions here.

CCFC is losing hand over fist at Sixfields, ACL may be too. So we should just sit and wait it out until 1 collapses?!

I cant see that being the case. I guess next years accounts will tell us, with no football and no major concerts etc...we shall see.
Who will go first Acl or the Club?
That's the game, always has been.
I don't think I can just sit here and let that happen. Surely we should use "people power" to unite and force something!
Well at the very least, don't we all have an obligation to turn up July 12th if we can, to show fans of the club do still exist?!?

Evidently. You're not seeing them withholding mortgage payments in an attempt to distress their creditors, or liquidating their business after shuffling assets between pseudo-offshore companies.
I'd give SISU three months to either get their new build stadium on the go or sell up, then after that time with no prospect of returning to the Ricoh, publish a business plan to redevelop the pitch as a RFU or closed exhibition arena. The fact that CCFC could return tomorrow is only delaying sisu's master plan...
you are so wrong it is perfectly viable agree a rent deal stick to it buy back the revenue streams that the club sold and move forward
No one will buy them now - dream on.
