Elliott is awful? He's ex-international and premier league. If you want to see us play exciting football I'd rather cody and Elliott I seriously can't stand clarke we play too direct with him. Codys goal per chance ratio is surely better than Clarkes anyway? And why 'behave yourself' it's a forum for different opinions you tosser

He's too good for this league, hence his goalscoring record...

Key word in you post... 'Ex', there's a reason why, as a player, he's been distinctly average wherever he's been, likewise with CCFC. Clarke has a better goals:game and goals:chance ratio than Cody, easily.

Clarke: 25 shots, 17 on, 8 off, 6 goals, goal every 4.2 shots, 8(1) appearances (CCFC), 38 shots, 24 on, 14 off, 11 goals, goal every 3.45 shots 14(1) appearances (Scunny). Total: 68 shots, 31 on target, 22 off, 17 goals, goal every 4 shots in 24 appearances.
Elliott: 31 shots, 17 on, 14 off, 4 goals, goal every 8.25 shots, 10(8) appearances
Cody: 17 shots, 8 on, 9 off, 2 goals, goal every 4.5 shots, 6(6) appearances
McGoldrick: 84 shots, 54 on, 30 off, goal every 5.25 shots, 21(1) appearances

There you have it, Clarke is officially our most lethal striker this season.

So the facts, as well as hill83, tell you to sit down, and behave yourself.

Pleased to see Cody's officially confirm what were my estimations from the first few games this season.:p

Them stats are misleading though because Clarke generally doesn't shoot from range. Mcgoldrick is quite clearly more clinical than Clarke however goals per shots is lower. Elliott is generally playing off Clarke so shoots from range. As for Cody I'll give you that one he's is shite I suppose ;)

Things are getting desperate so McDonald should be chucked in with Clarke. It's last chance saloon.

Dies McDonald have the desire though. The manager should sit him down and say to him that his chances of making it are shortening and to now really stake a claim. To me the appetite isn't there. Despite Clarkes languid style he does apt himself fully. McDonald I am sure is one if the big earners at the club and seems to have far too much of the Eastwood view on life.

But clearly he isn't, because the facts say otherwise, McG shot from long range, but also scored, so it balances itself out. McG was also guilty of missing chances he should've scored, so no, Clarke is more clinical and you're only disputing the facts because you don't like the results, however, McG is quite clearly a better player all round, but not as good as a finisher. As for Elliott, it shows he's impotent, takes nearly double shots to score, in way more appearances than Clarke and Cody for CCFC. Elliott was a poor signing.

These facts tell everything I need to know about each striker, and it in fact confirms my beliefs. If you want to try the results for yourself (to anybody) work it out using the stats off the actim index, where I get all of my stats.

Clarke scored from 20 yards against us in November.

Which is why I was worried about the fat /unfit stories ,much like Freddy ,also a big earner

I like Elliot a lot he works hard, but he isn't getting the goals needed, IMO if your Lee Carsley why bring Cody McDonald back who is scoring goals at Gillingham to sit him on the bench? If Cody can come back and continue his purple patch it could be really important to our season

Codys goals for Gills have shown he can finish...

The goals don't change size, if you know where they are in one league, you know where they are in all leagues.

I think cody should be given a chance why not hes scoring again. Now i might be wrong here but im sure mcsheffery dropped off his form years ago and was sent out on loan to i think luton guess what he started scoring goals with an upturn in form. And came back to us a different player so much so he was sold to brum for a few million. So what im saying is going on loan and scoring goals will have boosted codys confidence and im confident in him to start scoring for us given the chance. But he needs starts
