Return of the (Cody) Mac next week with a struggling Gillingham-should definitely be targeting 3 points from that.

Really childish..

Lets be honest every fan is buzzing we have just won 2-0 and dominated a team that until today had started off really well this season, every one has their doubts about the owners, no one likes playing in Northampton but we have one positive spark around our club and you are trying to destroy that on what has been a positive thread, if you don't want to enjoy how we are currently playing and our result today then go away..

Sorry but being realistic. Got my hopes up the season Juke hit form. Got my hopes up many times. Have always been half pint full sort of person. My glass has got a bloody hole in the bottom now.

Realistic to me is loving the way we are playing, Wilson being the Leagues top scorer and us climbing the table but logically and with experience of SISU knowing what is going to happen later in the season.

How about you?

I agree I am also enjoying the way we are playing and glad that our players who have come through the academy, like Wilson, Jordan Clarke, Thomas and Christie are playing well.

However even though that means we are playing well and people will take notice I am not going to say Wilson will be gone in January or he won't sign a new contract or SISU will sell him off at the view of a transfer fee, that just kills the whole atmosphere.

Chief Commentator!
Who was that idiot on the phone in arguing with Stuart Linell that the picnic bus went 8 minutes early?

Why would Stuart Linell make it up that it was still there after the FT whistle?

And it wasn't really his 'opinion' it was there; it was either there or it wasn't!

But I'm glad the whole stand 'had a laugh' that it had gone

I'm going to keep this match related being the Colchester match thread :thinking about:

Domination. Complete dominance from start to finish. The little offence Colchester mounted i'm not even going to count. We were outstanding today. No one put in a bad performance, and the fluidity of football from front to back was outstanding. Pressley really has our boys playing some cracking football.

For those interested, I offer you some cheeky ratings:

Murphy: 6 - Had absolute fuck all to do. Was strong for a couple of corners he was needed for and that's it.

Chrisite: 9 - This guy... this guy was outstanding. Rapid down the right. Took on his man, and won, a lot. Crossed the ball really well, and could've had a couple of goals too. Col made a change after 20 minutes, and i'm pretty sure it's because the man was getting torn a new one by Cyrus. The guy who took his place didn't do much better.

Webster: 7 - Strong and simple. Did his job and did it well.

Clarke: 9 - The 'weak link' as I had him called from people around me. Wow. Had Ibehre on toast, bearing in mind the size difference of the two. Great touch, great confidence. Never in doubt from start to finish.

Adams: 8 - Had a quite 1st half as most of the play was going down the right, but it was his shot that got parried into Wilson's path. Just as effective as Chrisite down the left. Rapid, took his man on, and won, and just as tidy at the back.

Fleck: 9 - I'm laughed at alot for comparing this guy to Paul Scholes, but that's exactly the type of player he is. He sat in the centre all game, picking the ball up, and either laying it to feet or squirting 40 yard balls, all accurately. He had a great game today. Threw in some good tackles throughout, and was always quick to close down.

Thomas: 8 - Strong, quick, simple, effective. The bloke is becoming the player we all hoped he would become. Plays really well with Fleck.

Bake: 8 - Had a great game. Some baaaaaarrrre skills and absolutely sublime touches.

Moussa: 8 - Had Colchester on toast. The class this guy showed today was outstanding. Some absolute silk when he took his man on.

Clarke: 8 - How this man didn't score a hat trick is beyond me. Hit the post twice, the bar once, just wide 3 times, and Walker pulled a worldie save towards the end. The way Leon holds the ball up is incredible. Like a classic big man, holds up, lays off, and he's gone. Outstanding today.

Wilson: 9 - Pppsssshh.. no one can handle this kid right now. The guy has so much confidence it's unreal. Very quick to react for the 1st, and such technique for the 2nd. It looked Robbie Keane vs Derby-esq... he made it look so simple. If he keeps injury free he'll get to 20 goals no problem.

The scoreline does not reflect this game. It should've, and very easily could've been a rout.

Oh, and Tim Fisher was walking around the concession area at half time. Stopped to talk to a few people by the looks of it. It looked like he had one guy with him, security perhaps, but he walked on after Tim stopped to chat.

One guy said something to him, couldn't really make it out, but it was enough for Fisher to tell him there was no need for it and walked on.

Actually quite a big bloke.

im glad i do not go to northampton...seeing that prick walking around as if he is some sort of saviour is enough to make anyone sick. no wonder he needs a minder.
those of you that do go (it is your choice and I respect that) should make life uncomforatble for him

He didn't seem to like what that guy said to him. I was pretty shocked to see him walking about to be honest.

Totally dominant that game. Off the bottom of the table this week and hopefully off the relegation zone next week. Well done Mr Pressley u have galvinised this squad and made us a really attractive team to watch. Just a shame it wasn't played in front of 10 thousand odd supporters at the Ricoh.

Play up sky blues and long may this continue!

playing like we are could be 15 thou at ricoh less than two thou at sixfields

I don't doubt that either BSB but they have committed to funding the 3 years away. If that leads to the clubs own stadium then there will be a lot of apologist on here. Ideally of course it could end sooner and a better deal altogether than what they had to a return at the Ricoh. In the end the long term financial security is what matters.

if they build a new stadium i won't apologise i will never enter it

Is that the realism that was shoved down our throats thst Wilson etc would all DEFINITELY be sold in August.

Wilson probably will go one day as many players have in the past. He would go whether Sisu were here or not.

Amazing second half in particular...second completely one sided game I watched this weekend having been at Wembley on Friday. It could have been 6-0 tbh...but 3 points and a clean sheet is great to get into the + scores!

Doesn't count for me, it's not a proper home game. In years to come that stat will have a little asterisk and explanation next to it.

Indeed. A big asterisk that says

"A result of ignorant, unsupportive fans spending all their time on the forums regurgitating the same rubbish hour after hour, spending not a dime going to watch their team, not an ounce of effort to go and cheer on our players who are frankly playing really brilliantly at the moment.

You can't have it both ways. On the one hand you want the team to win, so cheer when we win. On the other you won't go and support the team to win. You're all fucking disgraces. So are our owners, but that's by the by. Support the team you halfwitted no alls!

Oh right, I was thinking it'd say 'match played in temporary groundshare location' or something.

From a football point of view it has fuck all to do with the story. Fuck, even when people want to compliment some of the best foot we've played in a long, long time, others just*insist on spouting the same negative shit.

And playing 'home' games in Northampton isn't negative I guess.
Get some principles and stand up for your club, it's going out of existence in Northampton.
