Hopefully we see a higher level of coaching now. No players pissing about and fuck the behind the scenes at Ryton bollocks off.
Do we really need to be seeing head tennis, Dasilva making coffee and Wilson gurning.
Agreed. This is priority for me. Also, the negative play seems deep rooted, hoping they can instil some belief and get the squad playing on the front foot. Too much sideways / backwards play and possession for possessions sake.Unless we rapidly address the defensive record it's going to be a low finish
Anyone's better than co-co the fucking clownSo who's the defence coach now?

Yeah he is in effect Viveash MKII in terms of where he come from and what he achieved at Chelsea. Not sure if perfectly aligned but ironically, Joe Edwards succeeded Ade Viveash at Chelsea
Sports scientists - they’re back, baby! They’re good again!Think Chris jones is an underrated appointment, was fitness coach at Chelsea for a long time and will have very high standards
Hopefully no more videos of them pissing around

I think the whole Lampard appointment is almost lazy - it’s the almost obvious big name headlines choice to someone like king who admits he doesn’t know much about football - he’s got his wish in that respect.
however I will get behind him, the assistants he’s brought in are positive, FL has a lot to prove and you never know it might just work out…. It has to.
Yeah, I would expect at least top ten. Aside from Leeds though, I really haven't been that impressed by any other side. A lot of temperamental teams in and around the top half. That can only help us, if they can get us going.Top 10 is realistic.
Anything from 18th down is a failure given the supposed credentials of Lampard and the backing he’s got with his coaches
Have to say, although I didn't want him to be the new man, it is quite exciting.
Very true.If when Robins was struggling a poll was made to choose between him and Lampard then Robins would have won every time.
He's here now though so will support him all the way.
4-3-3 is his preferred which becomes a narrow 4-2-3-1 in possessionWhat formation does he usually deploy (if that's relevant with an entirely different deck of players to what he's had before)?

2.5 years is in line with the remainder of the big 5 year plan2 and a half year contract is perfect in my eyes, if it doesn’t work it’s not a massive payoff but if it works I’m sure we’ll extend next season at some point
He'll have a job being worse than Butcher and Howe that's for eternity. The worst thing about that was Butcher explaing why 'a team like Coventry' had to play his dreadful long ball game when we recently won the cup playing exciting, attacking football that we weren't good enough for with our players apparently! I remember calling on Oggy from just behind him in the East Terrace to throw the blooming ball out for once. He turned around and shrugged his shoulders before another long punt up to Ndlovu and Gallacher who weren't the tallest men in the League, let's say. This could go down as one of the biggest clown moments in the clubs modern history. There's a lot of reasons why this could be the case, and I take no joy in making that statement.
That being said, I hope Lampard does well for us, and is in fact a positive change that was seen as needed to get us back to the PL when we look back on it in the future.
Let's hope it is the case. Best of luck with your CCFC journey, Frank.
Sounds like an incontinent superheroI’d have gone for weeweeman myself.
Yeah, I was looking for that. Boateng is gone, surely? Maybe they will drip out info throughout the day.Unless I have missed it i can't see anywhere that we have actually let anyone go yet
Suits our squad down to the ground IMO, our midfielders suit the “dish” shape much more than playing with a 10.
Was it ever in doubt that you would lose it? Well done

4-3-3 as a base but he has liked a 3-2-5 on the ball and 4-5-1 or 4-4-2 off the ball. What formation does he usually deploy (if that's relevant with an entirely different deck of players to what he's had before)?
