The issue is wether he can get that across to the players and make them play better and motivate them .

I was just about to say that, with ‘DK’ on but still wearing his work shoes.

Joking apart I’ve got no issue with him being there and wanting to hear Lampard address everyone for the first time. Whatever people think, this was a ballsy, potentially expensive, move by king so why wouldn’t he be there.

Happy with the appointment. Hopefully it will drive the players onto better performances, as they’ve just not been good enough this season, but as a group (sorry deck !) they’ve got the ability to turn it around / do a lot better
