What is King doing there?
Probably introducing FL to the staff. It's a formality but the right and proper thing to do.

Edit. Apologies to others who said something similar. I was late to the party

I think writing someone off because they used to be a world class player is frankly silly.

FL’s track record is mixed. So was Marks before he rejoined us.

I agree. There's no magic formula for getting out of this league, (relegated with parachute payments being about the closest thing).
But if we'd gone down the cheap unknown route I've no doubt you'd defend it if that's what King did.

I don’t think I would have unless I’d subsequently read up on the person and got comfortable with the logic myself.

I didn’t want Frank initially but rather than stay ignorant I decided to find out more about him, his work ethic, coaching philosophy etc and now I think he’s worth a shot, in fact I’m quite excited by it.

Think you're missing my point but if not apologies.
I'll leave it there but for what it's worth I'm happy with his appointment and the people he's brought with him as well.

He comes across as someone prepared to work hard and improve, and he should certainly command respect from the players. Combine that with a more professional coaching set up and there’s reason enough to think he’ll do well.

I hope that the fans are patient with him but in this day and age and with some still unhappy about MR’s sacking, will he get it?

Sky Sports News not mentioned anything yet. Banging on about Wales Women's football or something.

Press conference at 5 without local radio…almost like they’ve had another big fallout…

“You know there’s a bloke in Earlsdon that thinks you’re the worst thing to ever happen to this club?!”

That made me chuckle, fair play Panda.

If there's one thing Frank can do in order to make us better instantly however, that's to strip him of the captaincy.

I've noticed you post a lot about him recently and defending him, particularly referencing me as well, so if there's a personal connection, which it seems like there might be, I do send my courtesy if that burns a bit.

Sky sports news been advertising the press conference as 5 just to change it to “later this hour” when it gets to 5…

Bet they will just show a clip from it.

Poor from the club to advertise it and not live stream it too.

Sky Sports News said "Later this hour" from his press conference.

CWR bringing the big news about a bloke with a hole in his ceiling from damp. Fuck my life.
This was on the official, so I'm looking at ccfc.co.uk, twitter & the Sky Blues app expecting something ..

"A press conference will be held on Thursday afternoon when fans will be able to hear from Frank for the first time, with full coverage across our website and social media. "

We’re football fans. We’re angry until the next win.

Yeah that's what has confused me. Fuck all being said anywhere.
